    As a retired Motor Cop, who installed them on two of my FLHPs, on my GL1500 and am installing on my GL1800 right now, I totally believe in their ability to attention grab. Bikes blend into the chrome and paint of the traffic in which we ride. This grabs their attention and I use mine EXACTLY as Cruiseman does. I used to escort a 14 day bicycle tour fundraiser for Kids Cancer. That rolling roadblock escort often required me to be just anywhere on the road to get thru and alert oncoming traffic. The red and blue lights were moderately effective but after I installed the Pathblazer, mid Tour, the difference in vehicle response was astounding. I felt like Moses and the Red Sea at times, as opposed to being Wylie Coyote on a rock face without them. As retired GWRRA Assistant National Director of Rider Education for Canada, I promoted them at every chance. For a couple of hundred dollars this is, aside from taking rider update courses, the best safety bang for your buck. I promote them to all my riding school students. They help you to \live to ride another day".

    I must say, the main reason I’m buying that tail blazer is because it lights up all the back lights and not just the stock brake lights. Thank you for making that suggestion to get that function added. For years, all I’ve ever done is flash the brake lights myself with my hand. But, this will be a great tool.

    Installed both Path Blazer and Tail Blazer and saw a difference immediately . With these and my fog lights , when I present in a lane position you can actually see the drivers drifting away from my lane. Thanks for great product recomendations.

    I don’t know if anyone has told you but Kisan had a major bump in sales since this video. So much so that they had to back order 12 pin connectors to manufacture more tail blazers. So mine is on back order. Can’t wait to get it. I installed the path blazer it works great. Ride safe guys. Thanks Cruiseman.

    This is a great reminder! I had Kisan products on my Honda Shadow, and I think they worked well. Yes, someone thought I was a cop once, with my headlight modulating full time, I ended up with your strategy of using them at intersections. I’m definitely getting these for my Goldwing. These will hold me over with additional safety until I get my fog lights installed. Still thinking about the luggage rack. Thanks Cruiseman!

    I've had the modulating headlight on my Victory for over 6 years and have only had maybe 3 older people pull over thinking I was an officer. Not that big of problem, unless maybe your bike and jacket are the same color as the local police department.

    Great ideas on the use of the headlight modulator. I just installed it and was uncomfortable leaving it on at all times. However, judicious use, like to draw the attention of someone that might turn left in front of you, sounds right to me. Thank you.

    Never had modulators on any of my previous bikes. I’m really big on conspicuity so ordered both, one from Amazon and one from Kisan. The same day I ordered the one from Kisan (Amazon didn’t have both at the time), I got an email from them asking where I heard about their products because they got a huge surge in orders all of a sudden. Told them it was probably due to your video. Will be installing them tomorrow.

    I have used the modulating headlight on mini bikes for many years I use it exactly the way you described your use it works well that way once people if you're ever in doubt turn it on get people's attention you can always just turn it back off it only takes a couple seconds for it to activate. In March I'll turn in my 2014 Goldwing and I will be putting the brake modulator and headlight modulator on my 2020.

    Thanks for the video. They are all interesting and enlightening. A tip for you. I am in AZ where the high beam is mandatory. I had a similar flasher on one of my previous GoldWings and I can attest to the fact that people will believe you are law enforcement. I had several people in my last one where people pulled over and stopped. I looked at the hail light version in Amazon and found it was not available.

    I was going to do just the brake/tail light modulator, thinking that I can use the flash to pass switch for on coming traffic if I needed to. After listening to your reasoning here, I'm going with both. As long as the daylight sensor is reliable and gives me my high beams back at dark. Good video.

    Ordered from company direct but found out they too were back ordered. Seems, according to the owner that Chris' video caught them and Amazon off guard as the orders were overwhelming. They apologized for the delay albeit was Chris' fault. LOL. Called a few days ago and the new stock is arriving and they are filling orders as quickly as possible.
    Chris. Raly like the yellow gauntlet gloves. What brand as I would like to add more yellow to my Olympia Dakar 2 jacket, which I love. It too has been discontinued, but found one in why size and love the three way protection.

    You should not assume that because your headlights are modulating through an intersection that they will stop. Some idiots think you are signaling them to go ahead and pull out.

      Cruiseman's Garage Also of interest, their website says they also use an accelerometer to measure deceleration, so the brake lights will signal a slowing down without brake application. Some users may not like or want this. Unless I missed it, you did not mention this. Thanks again for the review.

    I carry the Federal DOT paperwork to show LEO's the Kissan Modulator is 100% in all 50 states. I have not yet been stopped by the police. Had cagers flash headlights get out of their car to tell me it bothers them. Or I am told they see me, tell them that is what I want. I love my Kisan headlight modulator. I turn it on when I am moving. Turn it off when in traffic stopped and I am behind someone. Never look at the driver of a vehicle on the side street. Look at their wheels. Drivers look right through you.

    Thank you for the video. I have now purchased the pathfinder for my headlight. I'm a bit confused about the tailblazer. I ordered what I thought was the brake light modulator for the brake lights and running lights. What I received however is the modulator for the trunk light, which also turned that into a running light, which is greatl What exacty is the part called that would moduate both the taillight and brakelight (not the luggage rack light). Thank you for your help.

    • @aug9301
      @aug9301 3 года назад

      I figured it out! I can say that I'm an issue with the modulating headlight though. It will only stay on for a few seconds. After speaking with Kisan, I was told that it sounds like an error message. Plan to look into this tomorrow!

    Today I received PathBlazer Headlight Modulater P115W-H3_GL8 installed it super easy. , but the TailBlazer Deceleration Warning P/N 25LED-D4 have only four pins connection. Kisan said its made form 2018+ goldwings .. Mine has a 12 pin connection ? Question pins are for baggers only ? I have a 2020 tour what is the correct p/n to use T50W-GL or 200GW-12 both 12 pin plug.

      I called and ordered direct from the Kisan Company, rather than wait for Amazon to restock. Just suggesting. The owner is a nice guy and will provide information on your particular install. I found the path blazer I ordered from a on line supplier was defective, only after working with him. He provided an immediate replacement once I email him a copy of my on line suppliers invoice.

    As usual I enjoyed your video. I do have a question. Do you have a video that covers the install of the tailBlazer on a 2014 generation bike. I bought a set for the brake lights and can't find the wire harness to tap into. I actually turned around and followed a Winger to a grocery to let him know his alternator was acting up, but to be introduced to the pathBlazer module. Very cool.

    do both of the kisan brake light modulators now pulse the brake and running light now? One unit has an input for the de-accelerator and one doesn't. I believe your previous video used the one without the accel and this one links to the one with the accel.

    • @cruisemansgarage
      @cruisemansgarage  4 года назад +2

      Depends. you might want to confirm with Kisan or Ciro if the 25LED-D4 will work with it. It was designed for the Honda trunk rack light. The TW50-GL will modulate your tail/brake lights down below.

I am a british Biker looking at buying an 2018 DCT Goldwing could you do a video on the the financial difficulties and the value in buying a £31000 or a £24000 second hand 2018 Goldwing and your thoughts on the residual value of your new purchase? in my case i would have to sacrifice my lovely white 2017 650 cc Bergman and a 2008 650cc Bandit to part ex plus i will be left with a £17000 loan at my age 70 i need to get it right? what are your thoughts? all comments appreciated!

      It is a fair question, but not sure I have a good answer. I doubt that the residual value of the 2018+ is as good as the previous generation was, say, 6 years ago. And, the market in the UK is probably different than here in the US. It just comes down to how bad you want the new Goldwing.
