  • Since last fall, I'm enrolled in a program called "Technique des métiers d'art en construction textile" given by the "Cégep de Limoilou" and the "Maison des métiers d'art de Québec". In case you are curious, here's program's website: www.cegeplimoi...
In this video, I'm offering you an update of what has been happening at school for the first half of the semester. I talk about the different technics learned in my weaving class. I also talk about the cute sweater I knitted in my knitting machine class. Finally, I give you an insight on my dyeing class.

    PATTERN
Here's a list of the different patterns mentioned during the video.
    Weaving:
Overshot: Trellis. The draft can be found on page 116 of Anne Dixon's books: the Handweaver's Pattern Directory
All other warp patterns were designed by my teacher, Lea Menard. The weft patterns were made by myself.
    Knitting:
The baby sweater was made according to a pattern provided by the software Designaknit.
I mentioned that I started knitting a sweater for myself. To do so, I'm following a pattern made by ‪@KnitFactoryImpl‬ Here's the link to their video: • Set-in sleeve crew nec...
    Sewing:
The top that I'm wearing was made following a pattern I found in the book "Apprendre à coudre ses robes et petits hauts" by Atelier Charlotte Auzou. They named the pattern "Los Angeles"
