There are many people in India who are currently working in film , TV serials industry , music industry who are being neglected , ignored and even insulted at times. Such people , if you go and ask , they will tell that they aren't close to anyone else in their own industry ,they feel marginalised . And this is purely clear from our observation they most often we are unable to see them in and around production of films , serials , music albums. which proves that they aren't taken into consideration . Actually these people only deserve to be among top class artists. From years we observe that artists go bankrupt , face troublesome situations , give up their lives and that is happening due to marginalisation itself . Artists like Vid. Sonu Nigam , actors , actresses who are sidelined and who really deserve public attention , should be made a part of more and more productions . Just like what happens in Carnatic music , even novice comes for his/her Arangetram and perform in front of his/her Guru but it is exact opposite in North India. There is a topic which is very vibrant now especially in North India , now CBI has also intervened in that matter. That topic shows the real face of what artists from small background ( financially , socio-economically ) are suffering from in their daily life. There are many people like Sonu Nigam who want to be with everyone , that will be their inner joy and pleasure . Such people don't look at something as left out they want everyone in India to be integrated , together . For them sense of togetherness is best scenario but this is ideal .Yet such people try out hard to achieve them. Gratitude to such people's courage who are for welfare of human society as a whole.
31:00 Here Sonu ji points out the gravest problem of favouritism , selective nature of people who are at top that is existing in industry in North India

1:14:49 People may be shocked upon hearing this. A renowned personality from North India states that music and ethics is better in South India than North India , so this portrays how much problematic industry in North India may be.
But simply staying like that won't do anything some day some one has to come to solve this problem

I watched this interview entirely. Kudos to Sudhaji for great questions and standing on her ground in a couple of opinions. Let me say this at the outset. I like Sonu, his voice and range and his thoughts on various topics that were discussed. But what I absolutely did not understand was that having gotten a chance to meet an artist the calibre of Sudhaji did he not have any questions at all for her? She is an expert in the Carnatic style of music, and Sonu had no questions on Carnatic music for her? To give him the benefit of doubt may be he was overwhelmed ( not likely ) or oblivious and disinterested in the musician and her genre or plain self absorbed. Which of these things could be it..I wonder
Sonu rise to fame by singing Rafisaab's songs. Although there can be no match to the bhava Rafisaab',s renderings, Sonu's voice and style matched the Legend's voice. And yet, no honorable mention of his name either. !!

Abby and Sonu were my favorites of all the celebrities so far.
Sudha gave him such a build up but he appeared to be not recognising her classical talent or her virtuosity. Va very unlike northerner who generally are very humble & affable.
Amazing! I had just expressed this same thought in my comment. Speaking of the humility of Northeners..let's not get into that. I have rarely seen or heard a Carnatic kriti in a Hindustani concert. But Carnatic musicians deliver Hindustani bhajans and bandishes with equal aplomb.
Sonu Nigam is definitely a very good singer but the way he is boasting about himself the whole video is terrible...
