Enjoyed this game a lot. It was a bit on the crude side, specially compared to Gran Turismo 3. But having the weather, and changing time of day as well as the whole vibe, was just amazing. Even did a proper 24 hour race, split in 2 12 hour stints back then. Loved it.

I missed this game so much. Great memories. Luv when time change from sunny to night during race. Even change weather too.

Le Mans 24 Hours on the PlayStation 2 is an "Awesome Racing Game". I like the intro, the graphics looks so good, the cars are amazing, the tracks are very well made, the atmosphere is amazing, the music is awesome, having the weather conditions and change in time of day brings the game to life and Overall Le Mans 24 Hours Racing Game was so Damn Good!!
This looks better than actual HW due to the emulator.

Ohhhh boy!!! First I played the PS1 version and beat it like 5 times!!! Then when I was 15 I got the Sega DreamCast versión and man!!! I completed all the game like 10 times!!!

Great game on the ps2. I wish modern racing games were more like this instead of trying to be hard core sims. I miss the satisfaction of unlocking a new car etc

I used to love this game the tune is a bit different at the beginning and if I remember wasn't tiff needal the comantator, sorry for the bad spelling
Tiff Needel's commentary was in PSX version of Le Mans 24 hours (or Test Drive Le Mans) which is completely different game actually.

But if you still want to compared the project cars 2 with older games Gran Turismo 4 would stomp PC2 even every brand new racing games bcuz its a timeless classic 😈

I had this when I was a teenager. didn't play it a lot, but my god did the makers even go to lemans? The turns are right, but lemans is not that hilly, and the straights in many places are way to long.

I thought the same thing. I try everything. Low aerodynamics, nearly empty fuel, soft tires, engine set on sprint, gears set on balance. And my best lap without aids was 3.52.672, I don't know where those damn 20 seconds will come from

Mas aqui em casa tenho esse jogo no Dreamcast com o GDEMU e tenho ele também no HD interno do playstation 2 FAT e a diferença ao vivo é muito grande pois no Dreamcast as cores são mais vivas assim como as texturas e a resolução!
I mean it looks good but the Xbox version can tell has better graphics. I do like most game systems though honestly. The only game systems I find boring honestly are Gameboy and gameboy advance.

Wow.. For a PS2 game these graphics are pretty rubbish, expected more compared to the PS1 version. Maybe the GT series just makes all the other lower budget racers look low quality.
