If I am correct, NZ played 5 games against the Top 6 (SA 3x, France 1x, Ireland 1x). SA's win rate against Top 6 was 71%, while NZ's was 40%.
Ireland have the team, the set up and the confidence to win it, but realistically I think the draw will be their downfall, not only the group of death start, but the sequence of match ups is not in their favour, if they qualify from their group, then its France or ABs, they clearly have a chance in that quarter, possibly a chance in the semi's, but the injury toll would need to be in our favour to win a final, who knows, fingers crossed for Ireland.
