Schenker should just use Robin McAuley all the time, what a fantastic singer, still singing as good now as he ever did, absolutely amazing especially at his age 😀👍
Hats off to Robin MacAuley! Superb, classic Hard Rock vocals! Only him and Glenn Hughes are still singing that style with their old power and authority.
They sound amazing! Sadly I've never seen MSG in concert. Michael still plays great and Robin's voice is amazing at his age. He sings more on key and powerfully than many singers half his age in concert.

Michael Schenker is blessed and he Rocks and his band Rocks. The world needs to hear this not just the choice few. Let’s promote the greatest guitarist and visionary of or time. He is the “Rock” n Roll. It’s our time to start the Rock Hall of Fame. We need stakeholder buy in. That’s us. More to come…
He's definitely in my guitar player conversations with my music enthusiastic friends. I like many guitar players, but Schenker is so overlooked that I usually take any chance to mention his name to those unfamiliar with him. Indeed he's a master at melody.
Thanks. McAuley is a real deal rockstar talent! He's a pro that can stand on his own. The Schenker shows are always good but they're the best w Robin onboard.

Wow! Great to hear MSG with Robin McAuley singing. He's a real pro who's still keeping his voice in a good shape in his late 60s. And that's excellent that he sings stuff from different MSG eras, including the songs he had never sung before. But I wonder why no Mcauley Schenker Group songs are performed on this anniversary tour.
I'm appreciative for all the various Schenker projects that we've had over the last decade (it was so cool when he had Francis & Herman from the Scorpions with Temple of Rock), but I would absolutely love for Michael to finally reunite the McAuley Schenker Group from here on out. Robin is his all-time greatest singer by far, and he still has it! Fantastic performance!!! 😎👍
Thank you for sharing this gem 💎 I was at the one in Barcelona on May 11, it was an amazing performance too!!!! Michael and Robin what a great couple!!!! Michael unstoppable with all the renewed energy and in excellent shape!!!! He is simply the best!!!! 💪🎸🔥
Он композитор ,свои идеи так воплощает от Души)) приятно слушать) ничего лишнего) была бы команда) он был одним из лучшиз в группе scorpions и стиль тот же)
Amazing recording, thank you so much! It's wonderful Robin did this leg of the tour, and those who didn't see it, can now watch the recordings :) McAuley-Schenker songs missing from the setlist is something really hard to comment, though. It's so interesting to see Robin singing other songs here, compared to MSF tours. Some of them I'm sure wouldn't be his choice in the first place! Wonderful idea to include Red Sky in the set, too, such an overlooked (and difficult to sing!!) song.
Thank you. Shows that McAuley can sing anything by Schenker. The only bad thing is that they ignored any "McAuley Schenker Group" song. They could have added Save Yourself, Gimme Your Love and Anytime to setlist to please everyone. Many of the people were there for that band period.
Robin sounds great doing these songs, decades and decades later. Glad to see him here. Awesome show and setlist. So glad to see Michael and the band Rockin the World in 2022!
This band just sounds as though it is 30 years ago!!!! So good....and Michael and Robin sound incredible. What a great guitar player, for the last 50 years this dude has influenced his peers and his skills are still as good as they can possibly be. So glad he's got the demons under control...he deserves to be out there playing his heart out!!!
MSG is a professional band and it shows. Robin can sing anything easily at his age of 70. Helloween is my favourite band, and "A King has Gone" is singed by Michael Kiske on newest album released a month ago. I think Robin sounds better live than Kiske does on the album, on the same song. MSG already played in Europe, and currently festivals, and will then tour USA.
33:02 In Search of the Peace of Mind historical context for this song: I'm recalling from memory, but if I'm not mistaken this was the first full song that Michael ever composed by himself, opposed to just a few parts like in other songs that ended up on Scorpions' first album, Lonesome Crow... Michael Schenker was only 15 years old when he composed this song...)
What a class act! Michael, onstage, is a legit living legend! So freaking good at his craft! I wish he'd have had this much focus in the eighties! His recent output is up there with the classic albums from UFO and early MSG.
Weiter so Jungs !!!
thanks for sharing 🤘🤘 killer setlist and the newer songs sound amazing performed live... Love the fixed camera angle, feels like we are there, great recording quality 🙏🙏 One of the few acts I can hear the same songs over and over and never feel tired of it
No problem, and thank you. I don't like to film up close because you also get worse sound quality usually. Too much noise for a phone mic near amps. It's a great setlist, but i wished they played 2-3 from McAuley Schenker too since Robin singed everything.
Yep. If you like UFO, look out for the UFO tribute album coming soon from Schenker. Axl Rose, Slash, Kai Hansen and many other celebs sings and plays on it.
Never cared for McCauley in the first MSG days...but he just sounds great presently! He DOES actually sing the new material as good or better than Romero...and I am actually a solid fan of Ronnie's, not a hater at all...having a singer like Robin allows MSG to remain as versatile as possible...and with someone who takes his contribution seriously at his age. Pretty much the only voice that would also sound great with MSG is Jorn Lande...and THAT'S a lineup that would be golden!
Michael Schenker sure cared about Robin in 1980's, because it took 4 years to get him in Schenker band. Michael were so huge fan of him that he renamed his own band to "McAuley Schenker Group". Jorn Lande covered a Schenker song.. "On and on", but sadly never singed for MSG.
These guys are professional killers! There is no difference in the way they sounded back in the day and now, MSG was so underrated it's a crime same with UFO, these are master musicians and proof that age means 0 in music you can always not only maintain but get better the bands that sound like shit today are lazy or mistreated their bodies.
I didn´t know " After the rain " since i was at the concert in l´Hospitalet and i must say this is dedicated to HER (you know who you are,my dear....................)
Michael, you should keep Robin in all the time. What a duo ! Why new album with Romero ? He has spoiled also Rainbow and God knows what other bands will come next ?
@@mikerosenthal9863 Most international bands delayed concerts until 2023 even when half of Europe re-opened... Michael Schenker didn't, so i had to get there and film that. : ) MSG concert is now in HD here. As for other famous guitarists. Joe Satriani delayed to 2023, and at the same time Steve Vai will tour in Europe in June. Gonna film him in Oslo too. I think he will bring his new "Teeth of Hydra" guitar on tour. 3 guitars in one.
@@mikerosenthal9863 Thanks. Some bands delays tours because of the "Russian war" too now. Firewind / Gus G. for example did that.
