If you want to hear the rap line (rappers) of BTS sing more, I recommend:

“Hey Mama” or “Boy Meets Evil” by JHope
“Seesaw” by Suga
“Path” by BTS, RM actually sings the chorus part towards the end.

It’s just the post-edit color grading. He doesn’t actually have purple hair. It’s similar to how you use the filters in your instagram editing
Since Jimin’s birthday is approaching (October 13) I wanted to suggest a reaction to his solo song Promise, it was self written, it is an acoustic song and it showcases a lot of his strengths and uniqueness of his vocals, personally, i love the song because his voice sounds amazinggggg , so maybe can you consider reacting to it? ^Maybe bcs Hoseok is known as the most "vocal" line member out of the rapline. Most of the time it's Yoongi and Namjoon the ones that are seen as only rappers & not good singers. But to add, Hoseok sounds amazing in Spring Day's verse or in his track Piece of Peace. And it's amazing how he does many bg vocals in many BTS tracks. It's sad that they're not that known. 💜

There’s a behind the scenes to one of a BTS Run ep where they do a live karaoke version of this song while jumping around and goofing off (not dancing this intensely of course) and it never fails to amaze me how beautiful their breath control is.

I've been watching your reactions since the beginning and honestly its so nice that you are so understanding of the backing tracks now!! its really cool to see. fun fact about the backing tracks is that for live shows like this (comeback shows) the backing track is usually prerecorded live vocals!! so instead of using the studio version they will prerecord the song live for that show specifically, so that it blends better with their live vocals when they are singing. bts put in so much effort into every part of their performance and honestly its so nice to see you appreciating all parts of it
You really nailed Jin’s personality as well - don’t complicate things!
Hey :) I hope you know that, while they do have these kind of performances with a heavier backing track, they can still perform really well without it, even with the dancing. It's just that, with music shows like this, it's a special stage so they kind of make it perfect, therefore increasing the sound of the backing track so they can dance better and put on a proper performance for broadcast.
I recommend that you watch something on a smaller stage where there's not so much pressure for it to be perfect, or in concert - there are many concert videos that are not fan-cams if that's an issue.
Also, all 3 rappers have dabbled in singing so they're not half-bad and actually, the main producers for their songs are RM and Suga (pronounced with a 'sh' sound at the beginning, not an 's') with a couple of in-house producers that help them.
I hope you can react to BTS High Notes and Falsettos Compilation next please, but I always enjoy your reactions regardless, thank you!
*Edit:* Correction - I think I was thinking of song-writers in regards to RM and Suga, not just producers because I think J-Hope has a lot of songs to his name *as well,* so that's my mistake, but of course they all help anyway.

Comeback Shows are literally when they put out a new single/MV/(not sure exact criteria) and it's the first (or first set of) show(s) that song is performed on before they move on, which is why on their Bangtan Bombs you see titles like "end of 'so and so' stage".
this is a performance for tv, so there is pre-recorded vocals, you should have watched the performance of this song from the concert, there is a completely live performance

Their backing vocals have regular pattern
, usually the first 1-2 lines and the last 1-2 lines would be strong backing vocal, also the part they need to do the strong choreo. But JK will try to sing stably, usually you still can tell JK's voice even he is doing difficult choreo. If there was slight choreo or no choreo in the end, usually what you hear would be the true voice.

Yeah, you didn’t find the “best” (ha, see what I did there?) performance video of this song. What you’re hearing here is mostly pre-recorded vocals. Wish you could’ve found one where the backing track wasn’t so prominent. Usually, concert performances are more clear than music show clips. Sometimes, even in fancams you can hear their real voice more clearly than in other videos, but at the price of hearing louder screams.
This was not for a music show. This was for something else.And since their are double voices, I would say it's background vocals instead of pre-recorded vocals.

It was their “comeback show” for their DNA era. It was more of a _showcase_ per say rather than a live _performance._ In all of those performances though, the backing track was pretty strong, so it was kinda hard to pick out their actual voices. That’s why this wasn’t the best one to react to. Doubling vocals, prerecorded vocals, it’s all more or less the same to me. Technically they’re different, but I’ll just generalize it here as “backing track.”

This song literally starts off with "When you say that you love me" without any patience like we get straight into the song which is something I personally like in a song
But even with the backing track, we can still hear their voices. I think that's fine. It's not like it's completely drowning their voices lol.

he said that there is a backing vocal and he's right, they often have backing vocals when they sing songs with harder choreos, he didn't say he was lip syncing.

Never react to their performances at music shows bc it’s known that they’re pre-recorded for every artist who performs there. For the music shows, they film several times to get the best shots and they keep the best singing live version.
If you watch a bangtan bomb, it’s like a fancam so we can’t hear well and we are not even sure what they film. Sometimes it’s just one of their performances, their rehearsals or they perform “live” but it’s not aired (it’s the pre-recorded version that is aired). They don’t sing, they only dance for the fans who came to cheer for them when the winner is announced live later!
So please, react to their concert performances bc this is real live and they’re so good!

I'm not sure why you like to point out the sections where they have a backing track as if we, the audience, that have been listening to them for YEARS, don't have ears. We KNOW they have backing tracks -it's pretty obvious, but when you listen to them for as often and as long as we have it's very obvious that 90% of the time they sing live and OVER their vocal backing track. So even though it's there, they don't heavily rely on it, they sing regardless of whether it's there or not. Saying they're "under" their backing track is often untrue -whether you believe it or not, they're trained SPECIFICALLY to be able to sing during intense dance choreo, their voices often really are that stable and you've seen that specifically with Jungkook and J-Hope.

RM has a mixtape called mono. He sings some of the tracks, you can check it out if you want.
Since you’re not a fan of backing track vocals, I would suggest avoiding korean music shows. (Except that one show, whatever it’s called, that doesn’t allow the recorded versions lol sorry I can’t remember which one). I would stick to concerts, festivals, and Musters for performances from BTS with all or mostly all live vocals. I would not count on American show performances either, because so many times they end up muting the crowd as well as the live vocal audio (because the crowd is too loud and can even be heard over the live audio from mics, the dna fiasco of the AMAs is proof America doesn’t know how to handle a loud audience). Also versions when they aren’t dancing will obv have lots of live audio, I know there are a lot of performances of best of me without dancing when they sing live beautifully either without or over top of a backing track and you can actually hear their voices. The best of me performances from 5th muster and concerts are so good.

the rappers of bts are also producers i remember when V was asking RM to produce a song where his voice fits the intro cause he wanted to start singing a song so bad and then RM did it, i actually remember RM talking about how every member record the same part of the song sometimes to see which voice suits better so yeah
