That is so cool, are your daughter's friends ever allowed in the museum? That would make your house the cool house and you the cool mom. I grew up in SE WI although I moved to to Chicago decades ago and am more of a Chicagoan than a Wisconsinite. This is a great channel, John does such great job and I have to say there's Meg in the background finding awesome videos for him to react to. Thanks to both of them I can nerd out to my heart's content.

John is one of my favorite reactors. Happy, positive (and occasionally lets us know he has his downtimes but doesn’t drag us down there with him. Which, for me, is helpful cuz downtimes is a reality for most of us). I’ve even learned to appreciate other artists he likes. PS I’m 74 and have never been a fan girl before these boys came into my life. 💜

Love this performance. Jimin and Jungkook's singing parts were during or right after the heaviest choreo. They are breathing hard because of that. They can all sing and dance fantastically. Better than many others. Not sure why they still didn't get a Grammy.

Same!!! I was just going to write the exact same comment. it is one of my top 5 fav BTS songs (and you know how hard it is to choose top 5!!) and I've never noticed that!! The electro-sound of the melody was too overpowering.

that I find the maybe most surprising and mpressive of all, the intense trust they each have in the other 6, Like, Jimin can't sit on a chair to save his life, (lol,we all know that's a tease with Jimin cause it's so cute the times he did miss a chair or made one tip over but it never happens on stage performing, never!) ain't NO way he'll ever miss a step or a slide or a twist and not be right where he needs to be on stage or practices of their performances, because heis NOT going to let down himself or one of his brothers, no way. I always think like HOW?? How can he lose his balance so easy any other time but bot while performing, ever? So impressive.

This is EDM, EDM, EDM! Why nobody mentioned that this song was produced by the Chainsmokers. Hence the EDM 😊. Chainsmokers were already big then yet they worked with the fledging BTS. They have a lot of respect for BTS and remained as fans of BTS. In the very first BTS appearance in the USA, CS introduced BTS. Please watch another live performance of this song, one where they wear black suits.

This is my FAVORITE song by them. Out of their whole discography it is THIS song that totally captured my heart. There was a live version they did...that was just SO good. *happy sigh*

"Best of Me" was a collaboration with EDM group The Chainsmokers, which totally explains the hooks and high bpm.
The intensity of their performances is one of the many reasons I feel they should be considered on par with top tier athletes. They are total performers, bar none!

Their transitions between soloists - especially at such close range a lot of the times, are outstanding... it's so evident just how much they practice to get it perfect... They're so lucky I'm not in there.. there would be a lot of tripping and a heap of stomping on other members feet ! For sure !! The choreography is just so insaaaane. The fact that they perform this so well is mind-blowing to me.
The live version was actually the very first time that they performed that song and the people who attended couldnt record sooo it was a journey try to find out a video at that time but a few videos came out after eventually with a bad quality but that moment was such AN EVENT in the army haahahah

Definitely one of my favs! I love the melodies, how it goes from fast to slow and back so seamlessly, and the versatility of the lyrics, like you mentioned. BTS are choreo and cardio kings.

This choreo is amazing. I saw a dance teacher analyzing this. They jump exactly at the same time, the same height, it is amazing how coordinated they are. The beat is so good. I wish there was an MV, it should´be been amazing. Hahaha sometimes they move so fast that I think, wait are there more than 7? hehehe.

This is absolutely one of the best choreos that they do, and you're right - it's a marathon. Their physical conditioning is outstanding. I can't even imagine a regular person living through that, much less nailing it the way these guys do. BTS is constantly amazing to me.
I think that we get so used to seeing them perform at this level, we forget just exactly how awesome it really is! That is why a lot of people think they must be lip syncing but you can always hear their live voices and breaths. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs (but that list would be way too big to put here) 😆💜

I hope you'd do reaction on BTS behind the scenes of their performances.. especially their concerts where you can see them gasping for breath backstage..crawling..fainting but they had to go back on stage and see them like nothing happened.. that's how professional and passionate they are.

This song is one of my favorites to listen to over and over again. The beat and vibe put me in such a good mood. It's so catchy with a lovely melody that gets embedded in my head for hours, if not the whole day. I loved it so much and tried to learn the choreo. It is fun to dance to. This song makes me so happy, and it's good exercise!

Have you listened to V sing one of Adele's songs. Absolutely killer. This was about 4 to 5 years ago.
Best of me is one of those "all around" great songs. Good music, lyrics, choreo, etc. Others are "let go", "black swan", "anpanman", "idol" etc

the 2 that do most of the choreography for all their dances is main J-HOPE and JIMIN this is due to their dance background. But also HYBE do not use out side choreographers as they want their artists to improve their skills naturally they are the only company in the industry that does as yg sm and jyp all have dance coaches for their artists the only band i know from one of these companies that went against the company with a dance coach is BigBang
What kind of bullshite are you talking about. BTS has tons of outside choreographers. 99% of dances are done not by BTS members. Give one example of BTS choreo most made by J-Hope or Jimin? They can adjust some moves but that's it.
I love both the song and the choreo in Best of Me! The song itself just pumps me up and gives me feel good vibes. As far as the choreo goes, every time I see this one, I go...man look at the height they get on the jumps!! LOL! It's the same for a couple of the others where they jump as well. This was one of a few songs that the Chainsmokers sent to BTS after they met and hit it off at the Billboard Music Awards and agreed that they should do a very long distance collab. In one of their interviews BTS said that this song just stood out as the one they definitely wanted to do!
