Seven notes per SECOND, done in one take, and from memory. No sheet music. The most incredible guitar performance I have ever seen.
Absolutely, no one’s ever replicated it and I don’t believe anyone ever will.
@@iflyforfree She acually replicated it from Dr.viossy's version and got the arragnments from him... Love Tina but the original version is just better on so many aspects.
Way harder on piano lol
Seen it from acoustic classical guitarists, first time on electric tho
@@brendanblondeau8631 I've watched the comparison between her and the Dr. Tina doesn't bother looking at the fret board. The Dr. looks at it the whole time while he is playing. Tina wins!!
First I have seen of Tina, she will go down in history as q of the best guitarist's if not the best. Even at that pace she is so fluid, her endurance and stamina on a another level! That wasn't just short rift. Very impressive
When Tina was in her High School music class playing acoustic, her teacher told her that she was too advanced for his class and advised her to learn electric guitar. He recommended Renaud Louis-Servaisas as her new teacher. The RUclips videos were recorded in his studio he built in his home and were meant as tests to show Tina's progression and to help her get a sponsor as she couldn't afford a quality guitar. She really didn't care about bad compliments because she already knew she was exceptional. She made the cover of Guitar Magazine when she was still only 14. She's been complimented by Eddie Van Halen, (God rest his soul), as well as Steve Vai, (student of Joe Satriani), along with Herman Li and Sam Totman (Dragon Force), and John Petrucci (Dream Theater) invited her backstage at one of there concerts (documented on RUclips somewhere). Where did she go? She graduated High School. It is said by good sources that she enrolled, and is away at college taking business courses. Since her guitar lessons are finished for now, so are her videos. This is all I really know pertaining to this subject. It is all verifiable on RUclips. I didn't want to post links. I hope it answers some questions.
Thomas, has she ever played anyplace live or has anyone claim they have heard her live. And to just give it up so she can go to college and take business courses and never post again or record a cd, nothing, very strange.
The fundraising must have worked. That guitar she is playing costs more than an American Gibson.
I have a hunch that she is equally talented academically.
@@Tijuanabill Both of them were given to her by the maker, from memory I think the green mennie(Tina's name for it,) took about 9mths of testing with her before they were happy with it.
@@bartdrennon1764 She must be, to abandon what would have clearly been a lucrative music career. Or maybe she is pursuing a classical degree or some such, and just doesn't want the limelight.
Tina S. Is pure genius talent and dedication. BRAVO
Thank you!!!
Tina is back on track with a band ! Just got the news ! 🤗🤗🤗
Tina S allways makes me cry... of joy :)
She Is the best !
LOVE HER!!!! Truuuuue talent.....Once in a lifetime 1 is born.....KEEP UP !!!!! 😅😅😅😊
Think it was Alex Hefner (another tuber), talking about Tina, when he said "I can't even play the WRONG notes that fast!!!!!!!"
Hee hee... fairly accurate, would say...
imagine her in next 10 year's and progress skills....

@@idharidehar2827 eh? (Confused)
I've been following her for a while now.I'm a guitar player myself,so I'm drawn to guitar players. There seems to a huge increase in these world class female guitar prodigies.Tina is insanely good.Happy to see you react to her.She deserves recognition. She left for a while to pursue her education.Talented and wise beyond her years. She also was endorsing the guitar she is playing.I've never heard anything about the trolling,if it's true, that's just wrong on every level.I've seen comments dissing her playing from jealous people that don't have half her talent.Stop whining and go practice if you feel you deserve to stand in her shadow.
She's amazing! I hope she is well. I agree about the trolling. Thankfully i haven't really seen anything like that. Her comment sections are packed with nothing but praise. I hope she returns to music some day. She is so frickin gifted and just so chill while she blows millions of minds lol. Rock on Tina! We miss you!
Tina has spirit in another world while her hands play in this world for us
This is bliss, true bliss! And she was only 17...
I LOVE IT…..HAHAHAHAHA! Move over fellas….the young lady has taken the crown. WOW! HAHAHA….😂😂😂! Simply Awesome!
And all the notes are memorized!! Phenomenal!!
It is only a rumor that she left due to bullying. As far as I can tell nobody actually knows! There is a lot of reporting that she went to college but who actually knows? One of the greatest guitarists of all time and of course we all 'want her back' but I say good for her if she found something she loves even more than guitar. Whatever that thing is, it is on fire, destroyed, crushed, immolated, dominated, and completely owned. As a musician I am just in awe of her incredible focus and endurance.
Maybe she is just one of those folks that masters something and moves on...
I would love to see her playing again, but as many have said - if she is doing something even better with her life, more power to her.
She could be working on her own compositions.
What a stunning talent!!
Tina S one of the most incredible young musical talents around. I hope she returns to public performing, it would be a treat. I comment here to bring to your attention a young artist from Norway, Angelina Jordan. Angelina turned 15 this last Jan 10. Angelina in 2014 won Norways Got Talent at the age of eight auditioning singing Billie Hollidays 'Gloomy Sunday' and singing in the finals Gershwins 'Summertime'. She won nearly 50% of the finals vote. Since NGT she has released on her youtube cover channel over 120 covers of songs by around 65 different artists. She has sung for the kings of Norway and Sweden, for nobel laureates and President Obama. When Angelina was twelve she sang the opening number for Quincy Jones 85th birthday celebration in London's O2 arena. She sang Quincys arrangement of 'Fly Me to the Moon' that he had written for Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. Quincy said of Angelina that she is the most talented youth he has seen since Michael Jackson. Last year (2020) Angelina appeared on AGT Champions edition singing her arrangements of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road'. Both are stunning, she reinvented them and made them hers. Angelina Jordan - Bohemian Rhapsody - America's Got Talent: The Champions - January 6, 2020 ~ ruclips.net/video/qF0JV28vgLw/видео.html ~ Angelina Jordan Sings Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" - America's Got Talent: The Champions ~ ruclips.net/video/NVRWYEk8T3A/видео.html Since AGT Angelina has signed with Republic Records as a highest priority artist. The studio version of Angelina's first release from Republic records was released about a month ago. The song "Million Miles" is a tribute to her maternal grandfather who recently passed. ~ ruclips.net/video/3KxvwuZ7oEM/видео.html Angelina is not just gifted, she is the gift.
I remember dropping my jaw at Tina S' guitar playing way back when she was actually producing these vids over 5 years ago. It's amazing (but understandable) that RUclips is still full of new 'reaction' videos of folks discovering her in 2021.
What did I just see??? This was INCREDIBLE! I can't even IMAGINE the level of talent this girl actually possesses. Thanks for sharing this amazing video!
Right?! Isn’t she a beast?!!!

@@JustJenRx She's back and in a band. She's recently posted a few shorts where she's doing short solos. Check her band Spin Twice.
Nobody told her, that's impossible. So she did it.
thats a very good way to put it
Her finger tapping and pick sweeps are amazing!❤ them
She's truly amazing! Honestly I haven't heard her before your channel.. (Thank you!) What a Talatet for a young girl!
I have been watching her videos for years and also studied classical guitar, so I can appreciate how difficult this is to play. The one thing I never see mentioned in the comments in her videos of this particular piece is how she transitions from using the pick to tapping and back again. That one aspect alone is amazing to me, how she doesn't drop the pick. I like your facial expressions when you realize how incredibly talented Tina is.
giggles...Bravo Bravo Bravo Tina. I've played Violin since age 7 und Cello at age 10.
I adore Classical Composition. I've always desired to see someone...Plug It In!!!
She was playing many different parts of this piece...Quite amazing. Like your reaction much
once again. Have a fun day, safe in your Haus. Auf Wiedersehen aus Wiesbaden :-)
Tina S is the best guitarist of this galaxy.
Unbelievable skill and technique, absolute perfection!
Also her picking is strange and awesome.
No one can even dream of doing what she does, period.
she is good but better than professional technical guitarists who has been playing for decades ? common..
@@hyroproto4364 wayyyy better
I think the main reason was she wanted to focus on her studies as she went to university. Guitar playing was her "video game" according to one of her interviews I read a few years ago.
Thats what I was like 1st time I watched this a million views ago and still am every time I go back to it, watch both Nuno Bettancourt and Jennifer Batten perform Flight of the Bumble Bee.
That technique is called tapping. Tina is reportedly attending University somewhere in France. She does have a RUclips page where there are other videos although she has not posted in a while. She also has a Facebook page. Everyone is anxiously awaiting her return.
she is studying in college! In Evry , its a city in France
That guitarist is incredible !!!! I would love to see her live in concert!
One commenter said that after hearing Tina S., he was giving up
playing guitar and he never even started ‼️
Just jen she is absolutely an amazing guitarist
Once you watch her you can't get enough of her playing!
Best femail guitar player ever 🎸🎼✌️
This is a Masterpiece
OMG.....!!!!!!!!!!!
My reaction to seeing Tina play a guitar like that was much like yours. Mind you, I had just listened to the piano version, when this came up as a suggestion.
What can I say? Tina rocks! and when played on the electric guitar, Beethoven rocks!
Oh! I just love that smile at the end. "I did it!" she knows exactly where fingers, strings and everyting is.
Tina is the real deal! She's not only beautiful but also genius , beauty n the beast at one soul...
Back to RUclips dear Tina, i'm sure all the guitar freak around the world missing u to play again...

*as Jen said...
I've been playing for 45 years. This kid is light years ahead of me.
I swear, Jen, you have the best reactions. My face mirrored yours perfectly. Tina S. Is amazing!!!
I love your reaction to Tina S. whom I think is the best ever. Your reaction is pure. I hope she continues on. I would go to her concert if she would tour.
The best reaction so far. without jealousy or envy, a pure reaction from the heart with much respect and love
And his little smile at the end ! I love it ! Vive Tina Vive la France !
🤘💜🤘 Hi Jen! This was so much fun. She is brilliant!
She doesn't need to look at her fingers, because she knows exactly what she wants to play and where it is on the fretboard (and she has practiced this for hours and hours) . Think of it this way, when you drive your car do you look at your hands when you want to turn the wheel, or your feet when you speed up or brake? No, because you've learned that those actions make the car turn, or go faster or slow down. You look at the road, because that is the most important thing and the other things become second nature.
It's called muscle memory.
She is only 16 here.
I am a 66-year-old white male, rock and roll were and still is my favorite genre. I have been following Tina for more than twelve years, she is hands down one of the most technically accurate musicians, history will record her talent as the best female artist of all time against both female and male artists. I miss her and wish she would return even though I know she had to put up with dirty internet trolls. I think she has taken time out to finish her college education, however, I know like me her fans can't wait to see this phoenix rise and take her place once more, much love Tina, never give up.
She makes it seem so effortless, first time I’ve seen or heard of her. She’s amazing! Such a shame she quit RUclips, hopefully she’ll come back.
Her tapping and sweeping skills are simply amazing. You need to watch her covers of Gary Moore The Loner and also Yngwie Malmsteen Arpeggios from Hell :D
Tina wasn't drum out of You Tube....she took a break to concentrate on her school studies.
we all hope so....
We really need a bit of Tina S in our lives.
Loved this performance. TY for sharing it with us. So sad she got flak. - I personally think it's amazing. Love that she's really feeling the music too. If there are any youtbes of her out there, I'm gonna find them, like, praise and and sub. Right now. - and...ah... love you too Jen. take care of yourself. :)
this is just pure and genuine talent. You can improve skills with training and practice, but to be that good at such young age you must have something in your DNA, you must be born with it. That is incredible.
She is the greatest guitar player I have seen playing an extremely difficult piece of music the world loves you TINA S please come back to us all hope you have a happy 2024
Just the best,no words can convey how great she is.
How amazing is she? There are no words. There is a reaction on here by a classically trained concert pianist, to this video. If I remember correctly, she said that Tina never missed a note! THAT'S TALENT!
She is the best I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot because I watch a lot of electric guitar videos.
What a beautiful and extraordinarily talented young lady! Goosebumps 🥰🥰🥰🥲
Glad to see you react to Tina! \m/
Hello from France,
Tina S is so amazing. I'm not saying that because I'm French, just because all great artists should be known to as many people as possible, it's possible and it's true for all nationalities, all countries.
I really like Tina, not because she's French, but because she's a great artist.
But it's true, I must admit that I'm proud that she's French because if you like her, it brings us closer. And this is really important.
She is the best I ever heard.
It's an incredible privilege to witness a prodigy level of talent.
Her classical training shows so much in this video.
God bless you for your comments on bullying. Tina is a star in the making. Big up your channel.
Thanks for this.
Not sure how many times I have watched this. Makes me wonder what she's going to do next. Whatever it is...we will be impressed with her talent. Thanks again Jen
Tina is amazing, a natural talent with a lot of work. There is no other way to play as she do, talent and hard work.
I love the way she holds the guitar as if it's a classical or Spanish guitar. Absolutely brilliant
This is real music. . Bravo tina s❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Omg! This gave me more chills than watching her play the dragon force song. Love that tone!
Tina S is amazing….love from NZ
She’s back. She has a band called ‘Spin Twice’. I believe she has a record coming out in September.
Hey Jen, don’t listen to trolls, she quit because she went to university, and finished with a master in business. Smarter then those trolls!!!
thank you for these reactions from Tina S, there are other wonders to discover 👌
Someone said she works on a piece like this for months, figuring out the arrangement, getting the skills down, polishing to her standards, before performing it in public. Extraordinary.
Hey.... happy to sharing with you our Guitar French Goddess !!!!
Tina using the Tapping (Tapping method on strings) with a great perfection. If you watch all his videos since many years , you will be surprised by his natural talent between Malmsten, Vai, jason Becker, satriani and the famous Eruption by VanHalen (rip Eddie) , an amazing tribute....
thx a lots Jen... & salute from France

(You are perhaps not a guitar player, BUT, your talent is your "presence and feeling " here on YT, with all your followers...that is a talent to, non ???)
@@0ParisFrance Damned... i was wrong, apologies, just not J.Satriani, but "Vivaldi 's 4 seasons" by Patrick Rondat... (merci l'ami pour le rappel !!!)

Very smart and honest reaction, at the same time you really are funny
Tina S. is a guitar goddess!!!
Yes Jen she really is that good. Incredible
Hello from Texas. New subscriber. Love your channel
🤘😝🤘tina s is such a freakin talent
Yes, amazing and can see she has progressed to taking on tapping that many guitarists now use especially Eddie Van Halen (RIP) one of if not the first! Take it you have heard her play Dave Gilmour's 'comfortably numb'? Hope one day she will come back to youtube! Every performance - incredible!! Check her youtube site for more!
Tina S was simply incredible. Amazing......
I think the smirk is "welp, killed that one!" Kicks it with her toe.."Yep. Dead."
Yep 👍 I agree
@@welp1000 😂😆😂😆
Something you can appreciate. Pau from The Warning said that when she is performing she does not think about what she is playing or singing. That when she starts thinking about it is when she messes up. Over the years I have heard several top tier artists say similar things. Not all by any means but still a significant number. That Tina was not looking at her guitar all the time and keeping a big smile on her face seems to have been the most common complaints about her. As near as I could tell there was no good reason for the criticism she received. While that is the common story for why she dropped out of sight only she knows for sure. Certainly she deserves respect for her skill and the thousands of hours of practice she put in to obtain those skills.
Nope, complaints were about the way she sounds maybe sometimes lacking of emotions. (like blues as instance, which is entirely based on fluctuations and emotions), and this thing became what you say, people mistaking "emotions" with the way she looks when she plays. (how stupid, who cares about the face she makes)
It was about the way she SOUNDS.
And yes sometimes she lacks a bit of emotions, playing mechanicaly.
But at this level of technicity, and being so young, it's a real challenge to had emotion and humanize a performance.
She's fantastic! I hope she writes music. Thanks for introducing me to her and your reaction.
I know I'm commenting on an old video, but since there are currently a lot of rumors about Tina re-emerging with a band (led by the singer, not her), I thought it's relevant to comment now. You're a real character Jen, always entertaining and funny! I can imagine you on TV, if you weren't on youtube LOL
Yeah, Tina is FIRE!! Can't wait till she makes her reappearance with that band! I think the name was something like Spin Twice? Some people say that she plays with no feeling, which is ridiculous to me cuz I hear tons of feel every time she stops on a note and does that crazy vibrato. And the way she shapes the melodies. I think maybe they go by sight instead of listening,... In any case, I'm 62 and have been playing guitar for over 50 years. I co-led a metal band named Fretfire from about 1994-2006, I also freelanced throughout my "career" & played all kinds of different genres. I definitely did a lot of shredding, but there are things that Tina plays effortlessly that I either couldn't do, or would be struggling with. I think most of the pro metal guitarists out there would probably tell you the same thing. She's absolutely exceptional & a real prodigy! There are other really young guitarists out there who are mind-blowing as well, such as Max Ostro, Lisa-X, Yoyo, Abim Finger, Ayu Gusfanz & others. There's an Indonesian young lady named Divaldi Addina, who was doing shred videos on Facebook at the age of 7!! She's 21 now. I've sort of mentored her for many years, we consider each other Uncle & Niece, lol. Anyway, here's a link for a cover she does by Chris Impellitteri, "17th Century Chicken Pickin". I believe she was 17 when she did this.
ruclips.net/video/f5uD1BX0qBE/видео.html
She went to business school, didn't quit YT. Smart move, she'll own the world when she comes back if her business acumen is anywhere near her guitar chops.
I bet my Life savings that Beethoven Would've loved Heavy Metal Music.
I'd like to call your bet and raise you a large fry
No question about it. The piano as we know it today was developed in the late 18th century, around the time Beethoven was growing up. It was the electric guitar of the time. Traditional music lovers of his day probably saw Beethoven like my grandparents would have seen Frank Zappa - utterly alien to their preconceived concept of music.
Actually, if you would ask any Musician in the Heavy Metal Genre they would probably tell you that Ludwig van Beethoven is the first Metal Musician ever!
And hey, i´m from Germany and i would totally agree with that!
His Music, being Classical Music, totally Rocks!
I think it´s more about J.S.Bach...
I'm convinced Ludwig was a headbanger
That's prob the most beautiful piece of music I've ever seen played.
There is a video that shows her from like age 5 up through her teen years playing classical guitar and then graduating to heavy stuff. She developed her chops over years of playing and I think she spends months on one piece making sure it is right. She would be around 20 or 21 now I believe. It would be great to see what she is doing now. yeah hopefully she will be back. She needs you to be her internet bodyguard Jen!😎
She will soon be 22 years.
She was born 7th of April 1999.
Just stumbled onto your channel! Your comentarry is awesome!
It’s on. The right knee classical position. I’m speechless too.
She's way beyond her time for her age for how plays incredible it's amazing your right Tina makes it look easy ..
The artist Tash Sultana has a youtube as well .that awesome Just Jen
I used to watch her videos when they were new. She may have been trolled, I cant say. But I remember reading something on RUclips that it was time for college. Her guitar teacher made these videos. Bravo to him.
Flight of the bumble bee is one of my favorite songs to hear. I can't imagine someone playing it on electric guitar.
Exact, Tina S. .... Wonderful
You said the key word , jealous , but she put it down to get her college . Sure hope Tina returns , this is a gift from GOD , treat it as such .
this young lady is amazing.. she got 80% of famouse shredders beat!
"That ain't nothing" ... you're so on point with that 😁
Thank you so much for a wonderful reaction. If you find a way to contact Tina S say Truly Wonderful, and to go to Truth Social next month. Grace and Peace Jen and Tina.
She's playin arpeggio runs, very hard, great finger tappin. Super Tina S....................
It's plain and simple, Tina is the best that has ever been at her age in life. There is true evidence that no one can play with the intense of her playing. She is not for show, she is for what that is real! That is why she has the expressions that she shows. Music is to be preformed with reality, and she cirtainly does that. She is a true artist
As someone said in another reaction Tina S. Image being that guy trying to impress her at some party with Wonder Wall.
I am sensing a "hold my beer" moment coming on. LOL
Notice how seriously she is taking this piece in the classical guitar position. This is hard enough on the piano, let along on a guitar. She was 17 years old here and sadly her last upload. One of the few outside of Nightwish , Tool and Sharon Isbin for whom I'd pay an obscene amount of money to see live. Great reaction Jen, check out Herman Li's face during the solos of his song. It's priceless. Thanks
If you're curious there are videos of the hardest piano pieces being played by a concert pianist where you can see their hands from above. There are also guitarists and Professors of Musical Theory who are bringing these pieces to the Electric guitar. There easily amongst the most complex pieces of music ever written.
She does a brilliant cover of Dr. Viossy's arrangement here!!! Something few in the world could hope to accomplish!! To compare how well she did, check out Dr. Viossy's version!!
