I haven't played MK1 yet, but it looks amazing. I'm just really happy that Mileena and Tanya's bisexuality and romantic relationship is way more explicit in MK1. (This version of Peacemaker is also bisexual.)

7:39 it’s cause Peacemaker’s helmets all do a certain thing and they’re voice activated. Human Torpedo would’ve sent Peacemaker flying in a straight line in front of him at high speed with next to no bodily protection.

Lin Kuei & ninja are 2 different thing because “He preferred the term "Lin Kuei". In addition to that, referring to himself as Lin Kuei demonstrated his loyalty to the clan as he tries to separate the Lin Kuei ninja from the other "ordinary" ninjas.”
16:55 [minor spoilers for the show] basically his dad has alot of strong opinions on minority groups, that and when peacemaker was a kid his dad made him and his brother publicly fight eachother for money, which led to peacemaker accidentally giving his brother a brain aneurysm or a seizure which ended up killing him
you should definitely watch peacemaker its really good, and if you are going to watch it, watch THE suicide squad first not the one from 2016 the one from 2021 edit: also its the first time (at least me personally) i've actually seen john cena act emotionally in a show/movie and i didn't know he could act that well, and in a lot of interviews after the movie and show came out he was wearing the costume and when talking about it really understands the character
