    so far okay, but explain the coefficient, not the p-value, what does a coefficient of 4.6 for drug mean on the hazards?

    Hi, great explanation. How is the regression coefficient estimated in Cox regression? Is it by using y =ax+b or am I missing something? Thankyou.

    Otherwise a good video but can you explain what is hazard, proportional hazard, and how the regression equation is formed etc. This video covered only how to read and interpret the results.

    Thanks for posting this helpful, quick explanation! Is it valid to do this with datatab if you have staggered entry, though? And a lot of right-censoring required (unknown fates)? If not, then do you have a preferred r package for this analysis? Thanks so much in advance!

    • @datatab
      @datatab  2 года назад

      Many thanks for your feedback! Yes with DATAtab you can calculate data in which censored values occur!

      @@datatab thanks so much for the reply! Is there any reason it wouldn't be a good idea to use it instead of an R package? It seems like it would make it less likely for me to make errors if I have an interface like this (I am not the best at coding), but it's also not typical for people to not use R in my field. I would probably eventually run it both ways, but it would be nice to see some preliminary results at least.

    Thank you - great video. Quick question about the practical interpretation of the Coefficient for drug A in laymen's terms. How is 1.53 interpreted here? Sorry if that's a silly question. Thank you.

    Do you use a Cox Regression to see multivariate Influences? And cathegorial univariate Influence-factor are shown in Kaplan-Meier? Thanks :)

    Thank you so much for this super helpful explanation. I have two questions, if I may: 1) Can I use Cox P. M. with only one predictor? and 2) What does different from zero mean in this case? Does it reffer to the fact that there is no effect of the predictor on the survival time? Thank you so much.

    Hi, I want to apply cox-proportional hazard regression on a non-clinical case-control data. I am not sure which variable in my dataset should I take as a 'time variable".

    time column is the time at which the event occurred? so if I have a single patient that dies at age 80 but I have all their data from birth can I use them as 80 separate rows age 1-80 with my target event only having value 1 (dead) for the last row?

      Kaplan Meier should manage this. One predictor variable in a time to event analysis.
