  • anyone who makes a snarky comment about sotries, servisory or colourly gets banished to the shadow realm.
i'm fully aware they aren't words.
also this is the first song of the album thus far where chronology is actually quite important.
i'm sorry about the chaos. and i'm sorry i'm not sorry about the chaos.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    LYRICS:
    - new, original lyrics indicated by [] square brackets -
    - simultaneous/concurrent lyrics indicated by () parentheses -
There's lots of pretty people here,
sharing sotries and passing letters and
there's lots of questions answered and
    metaphysical, astronomical
songs, words printed all in papers that
seem to miss the goal, it's so magical.
People that dance and compute that
    no one's better than you.
    La la la.
    La la la.
    La la la.
    La la la.
There's kings in distant cities who
rule their persons and make them happy and
we won't forget about all the
    servisory congratulatory.
    Even the animals know that
something's brewing and they're all cooing.
'Cos in the end, I'd like to say
    no one's better than you.
I hope you're happy now I've revealed the truth.
I've even written this whole song about you.
    And not about me.
    And not about me.
[One time I tried to sing about
what was plaguing me: love, duality.
And as my mind was cleared of doubt
I could finally see these shades of blue and green.
(Let's see what the freak's turned around.)
So when the darker side had found
out about the songs I'd hidden for so long
(Can you say you tried your best?)
I finally had the courage to say
(Did you finally pass my test?)
"This is what I can do."]
[I hope you're happy now I've merged dark and light.
(And though I must admit you took your sweet time.)
This slope I'm headed down has turned to a slide.
(I always knew that we could be intertwined.)
So I'll throw my hands up high and enjoy the ride.
(You played Dr Jekyll so I played Mr Hyde.)
You've helped restrain that voice that slumbers inside.
(And doctor I think I am finally me.)
    I'm not quite alright.
But at least now I'm mine.
Please don't just laugh and clap right now.
This is serious, I'm not delirious.
    I've waited very patiently
just to let you know, you five-man puppet show
that you're the golden standard, the
trophy's handed to you, the disbanded group.
Concluding in the song I'll say...
But wait, I'm not quite done, ya see.
'Cos this is very fun for me,
and I've never been one for subtlety.
    So consider this a eulogy
to the colourly band that used to be.
And no, I'm not alone in this,
you left your footprints you made a difference.
Concluding in the song I'll say
    no one's better than you.
    No one's better than you.
    No one's better than...
    you.

I'll be honest, I've intentionally avoided your work for a long time, Chonny because i would often look for Tally Hall/Miracle Musical animatics and reactions and would be annoyed when i found your covers instead.

God, these songs are so much better on RUclips just because of how much effort is put into just a lyric video.

in my personal interpretation of this song, this is a shift of the main character, from the soul, to the author, or just mr jash himself. writing songs about himself and how he loves tally hall and their legacy. variations seems like a very fitting fearwell to the heart mind and soul as the main focus, since they're playing nice. and the songs from this point on seem to be more about mr jash's personal life, like his opinion on banana man, his love of someone, his want to be special, and finally showing us how he made all this

Reading the description/lyrics, I’m guessing two wuv may be his next tally hall cover because it mentions something about the album and chronological order. Plus the line about love and duality
I might be wrong, and I might be right. We’ll just have to see....

    • @andrewyo
      @andrewyo 2 года назад +3

And plus if it’s about chronological order two wuv is missing
