I’ll never forget my first time going into that alley. Besides being freaked out, I legit thought I did something wrong by getting killed that quickly into starting the game. This looks absolutely stunning and takes me back to that.
Love the vision they're going for especially at the start of the game with Jodie Mason and the fixed camera angles when Harry is going through that alley way as it turns to the other world it adds to that cinematic touch. I have few nitpicks like the game settings looked abit rough in terms of design, some monsters ai looks buggy, and Harry's vehicle doesn't looked time period accurate since I'm guessing the game is set in current times as it was released (1999) but overall this looked like it was made with love and passion for the franchise also can't help but notice Harry is giving off Niel Neeson vibes lol
That was my first attempt at doing a video game project so the AI is pretty basic and for the vehicle this is the only one I found online that could work (most of the vehicles are either High Poly and have to be redone entirely or the interior is not modeled and so I would need to work on this too). But after all my researchs it appears that SH1 is actually taking place in the 80's :)

It looks really good, for a fan game, of course. I dont really think the ambiance and atmosphere are quite there yet. It looks more like Harry Mason is inside a freezer than inside a city full of fog. The animation looks like a SFM, like the ones we see with TF2 or Skibidi Toilet. A lot of the hud, maps and menu design look like PS3 style. You should aim for a more minimalistic style, at least reminiscent of the PS1. The Textures are great, but not on the level on a Silent Hill game, but this is really just a nit pic since the dirt in the walls of the original trilogy are almost ultra realistic. And since this is a semi open world, Harry should have an option to run a little more fast, in my opinion. In the otiginal, he runs like his life, and his daughter's life depends on it. Here, he just looks like he is practicing his matinal jogging.
We can see the love of the developer for the first game... He created even Harry and Jody finding Cheryl. This is amazing.... SH1 deserved a remake so much more than SH2

What I truly miss from games is inner voice narrative descriptors. It's a very key point that made games so immersive. The inner voice or descriptions of the observed environment and objects in said environment might give you insight to the character's inner personality, the way they think and feel coinsiding with how you feel. It makes the story so much more REAL! I think that's one of the biggest factors as to why I love the old Silent Hill games, because yeah, sometimes you can make light on a situation, like when Heather Mason goes into a baker and comments about all the bread. But also when you're in Midwich elementary or the Alchemilla hospital, I wanna know what the scratches in the desk say, I wanna know why there's a random dead guy on the floor, or what type of books are on the shelf in someone's apartment, and I DEFINITELY want to hear what the inner voice of the character I'm playing feels about a random bloodied covered wheeled stretcher is doing in the middle of an alleyway. lol xD
Loved it! The thick creepy Silent Hill fog adds that feeling of uncertainty, not knowing what you'll run into. Only wish we could see a full version of this fan-based remake.

I do hope creators will keep working on it and that Krapnami won't interfere so it'll become better, but there's so much stuff to do that it may break people's backs.
We want this remake
Silent hill 1
What can i Say... Its Amazing!! congratulation❤
This is fantastic works.
This is an extremely impressive fan game! I love it!! The only gripe I have which is very minimal, is that Sybil reminds me too much of Miley Cyrus. I literally can't unsee it LOL
Thanks!
This is phenomenal!
Daaaaaaamn this is *gorgeous*
pretty interesting remake. I hope Konami take fans into account and think about silent hill 1 official remake ^.^
We need a chronological remake: Silent Hill Origins, Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3 ❤
And SH 4.
