Another interesting detail I noticed is that the corpses that Eddie has killed are all actually James if you look close enough. No idea why tho.

I really appreciated how mature and "thick" the dialogue in this game was. Each line felt important or symbolic in some way and I felt the voice acting was superb too.

FYI the "unused memo's" are in fact not unused as I have seen them in game myself, particularly the one about the car in the alley that if you follow the story being told on the east south vale section of the game it's basically the last piece of the puzzle before you can move on to the wood side apartments

One thing I wonder if was cut or just not completed were the additional Cinematic scenes in the intro, where you can see Laura talking to Eddie beside a van, Angela running through a house, what looks like bodies or mannequins toppling, and James carrying Mary in what appears to be the Hospital or Prison. Those scenes always intrigued me because they look really good but I've never seen them in game and I don't think anyone else has.

People have no concept of how good looking this game was in 2001, or how scary it was. The jump from 5th gen console to 6th was massive, and it was hard to believe how much things had changed in just a few years. I thought the remake would be terrible, but it's such an amazing improvement. There's so much brilliant design done in the Otherworld sections of the remake. The way it changes as you complete puzzles is amazing. It lacks some of the soul of the original, but also adds a lot more.

I would go to Silent Hill as well by myself. You are not alone, when I see fog anywhere I think of Silent Hill

Just for clarity's sake, I wouldn't assume that the different enemies in the E3 build were the "original" enemies. Since bubble nurses and mannequins are harder to kill, it's likely that they put lying figures in for the demo build since people would be experiencing the game for the first time there.

It is amazing that how much they manage to dig out these cut contents of these games. I love to see more cut contents of these. I really wanted to see some cut contents of SH3 and SH4 too. Really makes me curious what the original development was in those games too.

Just a minor criticism: Any corpse is technically deceased. Saying "deceased corpse" is redundant. It would be better to just say "corpse" here.

Omg you just helped me find the game I've been trying to find for YEARS!! Nightmare Creatures. All I could remember was a girl wearing red and "skeletons" coming out of their graves 😭 It killed me that I couldn't find it

Also very interesting that the blue creek apartments we're at night time in the original. Because I'm pretty sure it's night time in the remake.
