Lake Haven is definitely Twin Peaks inspired. There was a shot that looked like the Black Lodge and saving by drinking a cup of coffee, very Lynchian.

The only thing for me was integrating Frank AND making him a physician as well as the apartment superintendent. It kind of makes some of the comments in 2 that James makes about medicine etc. kind of weird. I think having the superintendent be Sunderland, with no further hints to SH2 (no Rachel, no medical career) would have just been better and more subtle.

Henry is the most attractive SH character.

Wished you would bring up Spec Ops: The Line(Silent Hill Dubai/Silent Dunes) even though this game dealt with more external problems like war crimes/American Army involvement + CIA/The shooter market(at that time of release) idolizing action and fun instead of what’s going on. Characters like Captain Walker truly fits the mold of ‘Silent Hill’ with his descent(both mental and physical) into madness, PTSD, hallucinations and purposeful negligence.

In the prison, there is a cell you can open, and every time i walked close to a certain wall i would hear a sound come from one of the wallls from an enemy i didnt encounter in the entire game that confused me a little.

I don't know what is it about it but falling asleep to these kind of videos improves my sleep quality. You should totally make more videos about other horror games as good as SH2.

one detail i havent seen anyone mention is that the mirror in the bathroom at the start is the only mirror we can see james reflection in. i think this kinda comfirms the game is a dream. you cant see your own reflection in a dream
