OMG! This was exactly my first reaction when I listen to this! SZA ft. Frank Ocean 😍😍
CTRL changed my life as a 20 something.. this album came out when I graduated from college at 22 and now I’m 26 (same age as when she wrote the album) and it resonates even more as I live and grow into my 20’s. It’s a masterpiece 4 years later. CTRL captures so many of our experiences. Go Gina is one of my favorites. Thank you Sza for this piece of art, I know 20 something’s for generations will relate to this album, it makes you feel less alone.

I honestly did not like this song at all at first. But for some reason when this stripped version came out, both versions suddenly became my favorites hands down! "Picking up a penny with a press on is easier than holding you down, can't be any harder than holding you up"... That line gives me chills everytime. Nothing like trying your hardest to "hold a man down" and trying your hardest to "hold him up" (making him stay at times he's trying to leave) then having "Gina" constantly in your business, running her mouth making a bad situation worse!!! Smh. This one really makes me reflect on my past relationships. It resonates in my soul. She really outdone herself with this one.
