I became an ari fan last year because of the album. I used to listen to kpop but then I heard positions album and I fell in love. Wasn't a fan of her older albums as much as positions tho. Everyone's got different opinions about this album but I have to say she nailed this album. I absolutely love it!
At 4:45 you can tell she messed up a little bit and wasn't happy with it lol. Most people probably wouldn't notice because she wasn't off pitch, but she shook her a little bit and was like "nope" haha. She's total pro though and played it off perfectly. She's the best live modern vocalist I've seen though. As a long time musician she's the most flawless pop singers that's come along in the last 20 years or so. She's 100% up there with peak Whitney and Mariah. I don't even like much pop or mainstream music, but I make an exception for Ariana. Her studio work doesn't showcase her dynamics the way live performances do. She's so much better live and that's incredibly difficult to do. Pure. Talent.

I became an ari fan last year because of the album. I used to listen to kpop but then I heard positions album and I fell in love. Wasn't a fan of her older albums as much as positions tho. Everyone's got different opinions about this album but I have to say she nailed this album. I absolutely love it!

At 4:45 you can tell she messed up a little bit and wasn't happy with it lol. Most people probably wouldn't notice because she wasn't off pitch, but she shook her a little bit and was like "nope" haha. She's total pro though and played it off perfectly. She's the best live modern vocalist I've seen though. As a long time musician she's the most flawless pop singers that's come along in the last 20 years or so. She's 100% up there with peak Whitney and Mariah. I don't even like much pop or mainstream music, but I make an exception for Ariana. Her studio work doesn't showcase her dynamics the way live performances do. She's so much better live and that's incredibly difficult to do. Pure. Talent.

You’ve clearly not lived long enough. Ever heard of the 80’s and 90’s, early 2000’s? Queen of pop is Madonna. Princess of pop is Britney Spears. Albeit, Ariana has a much better singing voice. But they Madonna and Britney established and revolutionized pop. I see Ariana more like the new or next Mariah Carey. Which is a huge compliment.
