Well then it's unfair that they don't pay taxes for their summer house or collection of their garbage. Effectively their let all the other people pay for school, roads, maintenance and so on. Also summer houses in Denmark are often in areas/nature that need a respite from people. So a solution could then be don't allow Sommer residences and pay tax several places.
Your climate is also a little different 😊However I imagine that mornings can be a bit chilly up in the Drakensberg Mountains though! I’ve been to SA I think three times now - and I plan to go back sometime! Lovely people and nature!👌

What is the point owning a tiny house if it's expensive and not mobile? You can buy a cheap old house in a Danish village or in the countryside for a few hundred thousand Danish Crowns. There are plenty of them.
Well. You could make your annex-Tiny house mobile if you wanted to (in the sense that in can be liftet with a crain and still have it made so it can be placed on a frostfree foundation. They do that in the village i showcased (Grobund Brenderup). And you might not want to live in maybe a smelly old house but might just need its on-grid kitchen, sewer connection etc to live legally in your TH. I think it may work for some people anyways😊
They are cheap for a reason. Most are unfit for human dwelling. Rather live in 40m3 quality hosing then in dumpster that most of those cheap houses are.
It is Danish Kroner.. not crowns.. I want the whole world to kone that Danish Crown(s) are slaugther houses and Danish kroner is our courency/valuta/møntfod…
I hate the fact that you cant live all year round in summer houses, the areas are so nice and feel so desolate in the winter months. We have so many dumb laws around houses, I don't understand why we cant just let people live in a house without making so many dumb rules... We got a lot of homeless people / people living in shit apartments like I do. I wish I could live on the ground floor in some small summer house in a quiet areaa.
If full year living in summerhouses became legal, the first thing to happen was that the prices for a common summerhouse would rise by approximately 300% and vulnerable nature would be exposed to an increased wear and tear. None of this really isn’t to be desired.
Well yes, that’s certainly possible. And I can’t really afford to take that risk. Besides, my story has often been in the media, so I feel an extra responsibility not to be a “known outlaw” thereby maybe casting a shaddow on all the legal TH-initiatives here in DK.
You didn't mention, or rather only indrectly, that retirees are allowed to live in summer houses too. There is no good reason for why they are allowed to do so, other than baby boomers being a large group which is politically influential.
That’s a mistake - I did plan to mention it. I think it can be a good solution for potentially poorer people to be able to live in summer houses. If only it also applied to students.
Tasmania here. I can't understand why people in Denmark can only live in their tiny houses in summer. Surely it would help the housing problems for poorer people. When Mary comes home next, I might have to get her to change the laws over there. 😂😂
It’s a tax thing. And many old summer houses are not fit for winter dwelling as well I think!😊However, I absolutely love the idea of taking the topic of Tiny homes up with our queen who lives in a castle - However, I think she well be sympathetic for the cause though😊
Neither Kings nor Queens have the power to change any laws in Denmark. They may speak for a course, but their absolute power was taken away back in 1849.
Men skriv gerne😊
Containere køber man via containerXchange websitet, medmindre man ønsker at betale for meget.
Ge-9-alt 🙌🏼
det med tykkelsen det passer ikke så længe at den opfylder følgende regler U-værdi (W/m²K) 0,1 på tag, U-værdi (W/m²K) 0,14 på Ydervægge og U-værdi (W/m²K) 0,1 Gulv with the thickness it does not fit as long as it meets the following rules U-value (W/m²K) 0.1 on the roof, U-value (W/m²K) 0.14 on the outer walls and U-value (W/m²K) 0 ,1 Floor Det er bare en standard forklaring på hvor meget isolering man skal bruge i gennemsnit vel almindelig isolering hvis du bruger de rigtige materialer kan du få en meget meget tyndere loftvæg eller gulv It's just a standard explanation of how much insulation you need on average, well ordinary insulation if you use the right materials you can get a much much thinner ceiling wall or floor der er nogen frysecontainere der opfylder de de samme krav there are some freezer containers that meet the same requirements

I think it's absurd and unfair you can't live in your house all year round because it's considered a Summer House by the Municipality!
In South Africa is easy once you buy a piece of land and put a shack you good to go and you can start building piece by piece wonderful ❤
Your climate is also a little different 😊However I imagine that mornings can be a bit chilly up in the Drakensberg Mountains though! I’ve been to SA I think three times now - and I plan to go back sometime! Lovely people and nature!👌
Awesome map of Iceland you got there in your kitchen. When is it from?
Thanks! It’s from Iceland, Reykjavik😊
Spænende og god video...🙂🤘
Tak!! ;)
What are the names of the Tiny House villages in Jylland?
great info. very inspiring
he didnt mean allowence when talking about going tiny within the cityzone, he meant permission to build.
Some times, especially here in Denmark, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission (:
😄
Which place do you live in Denmark???
Djursland 😊
What is the tiny house village called?
Grobund Brenderup 😊
Interessante videoer - jeg var slet ikke klar over hvor mange, der lever tiny Living her i Danmark.,
Nej, det vokser virkelig i disse år! Det er stort med tiny i DK😊
I'm 46 and I wish I could do that now..❤😊😍
I hate the fact that you cant live all year round in summer houses, the areas are so nice and feel so desolate in the winter months.
Ok. Tak. Fed video. 🍓💪🇩🇰
What about allotment house ?!
You wouldn't be able to legally live in such a house in Denmark - and this video is about the legal oportunities at hand right now :)
And what will the municipality do with you if you stay for all seasons? Fine you?😂
Well yes, that’s certainly possible. And I can’t really afford to take that risk. Besides, my story has often been in the media, so I feel an extra responsibility not to be a “known outlaw” thereby maybe casting a shaddow on all the legal TH-initiatives here in DK.
whis forest in denmark is this
It’s my property😊
So many rules… 😩
Most people who live in small sheds are on benefits and don't add anything to the local community. they just take.
I love the 🐿️🐿️
You didn't mention, or rather only indrectly, that retirees are allowed to live in summer houses too. There is no good reason for why they are allowed to do so, other than baby boomers being a large group which is politically influential.
That’s a mistake - I did plan to mention it. I think it can be a good solution for potentially poorer people to be able to live in summer houses. If only it also applied to students.
Can you believe that we would get to a point when we have to explain how to be ALLOWED to live SMALLER?
Yeah and consume less. It’s crazy actually.
Kanon fed video.
Tak Unge Jan😄
Its like is ilegal to live
Yeah, it feels like it sometimes
Nice Danglish presentation 😂
😁😅
In Denmark you have to get permission to go to the toilet to shit
😅
1000 Tak for dine oplysninger og video.
Velbekomme!
@@kasperkjrsgaard1447 I know, we were also only talking about it jokingly ;)
@@andersboisentinyhouse I love the way you say your Queen, We say our Mary.🤣😂
Stupid red tape
Men skriv gerne😊
Incel guide
Tak for din video,
Containere køber man via containerXchange websitet, medmindre man ønsker at betale for meget.
Tak for at dele ;)
Ge-9-alt 🙌🏼
At 9:18 you show a yellow tiny house on metal poles. What kind of foundation is that?
I think it is a ground screw foundation :)
with the thickness it does not fit as long as it meets the following rules U-value (W/m²K) 0.1 on the roof, U-value (W/m²K) 0.14 on the outer walls and U-value (W/m²K) 0 ,1 Floor
It's just a standard explanation of how much insulation you need on average, well ordinary insulation if you use the right materials you can get a much much thinner ceiling wall or floor
there are some freezer containers that meet the same requirements
