    You hit the nail on the head with the cold start! BTW, I’ve learned to carry a magnet place it on different metal panels, if there is repair the magnet will not hold. Also most Toyota and perhaps other manufactures have the VIN decal on every door, hood etc. if it is missing it might be it was replaced or repaired. Also all your windows should be from the manufacturer with exception to windshield which gets replaced from stone chips. Checking for repaint look closely around windows trim and under carriage for over spray.

    Very important video because I'm looking at a 2018 chevy cruze with decent mileage and yes 2018 cruze has higher than average reliability (unlike the earlier models).

    I had a Dodge Challenger I bought brand new that I had multiple front and rear end collisions with thousands of dollars worth of body work repair that NEVER showed up on the carfax when I sold it. Just saying, carfax is BS.

    I learned the hard way, that, while it’s an indicator, CarFax is not the definitive gospel on a vehicle’s history. Much, especially accidents, can be omitted. Bought a ‘21 TRD Pro from another state that had a “clean carfax”. Discovered when i got it back home, there was $10K in front end damage which needed to be properly repaired…my body guy discovered it. To make a long story short, the dealer in the other state took the vehicle back & refunded all money….was like pulling teeth, but they did the right thing. Bottom line, don’t cut a check for anything until you’ve had a respectable body guy thoroughly look it over.

    Couldn't the pulsing on the hard braking just be the ABS kicking in. It didn't seem like the shaking was super bad in the video. My 2018 Odyssey actually has warped rotors and it shakes a lot more but I've also felt just any car do a bit of a shake if you brake super hard.

      Generally on dry ground it's not ABS...unless you are REALLY hard on the brakes. In almost every car I've serviced/owned, when I have steering wheel shake while braking, it's the rotors to varying degrees. If you have shaking when not applying brakes, could be tire balance/tire issues or other suspension issues...

    It'll probably be hard to tell if the new Tundra was in a wreck if you look for the body panel fitting. It's a shame Toyota put out a product like that.

      LOL that's pretty funny...and yes sad in a way. I guess you'd have to get under and look at frame/radiator and other items on some of these newer cars that they can't seem to put together properly.
