  • According to a research study by Ohio State University, 80% of restaurants close before their fifth anniversary. While many have tried and failed to reinvent themselves, others are like how you remember them. But here are the shocking details: due to low-margin propositions, inflation, and economic instability, most of your beloved restaurants are on the brink of closure.

I have heard of 2 of these, and they were gross. Restaurants have all gone down hill. We quit eating out a long time ago. Kitchens are dirty, food is nasty, they use seed oils, and they make you fat. We cook all of our meals at home with quality ingredients, grass fed beef, real grass fed beef butter, organic cage free eggs, organic veggies, etc. We eat less because of more nutrition. When I grew up there was not a fast food place on every corner, you wonder why Americans are all obese? Fast food, the worst food on the planet, along with processed junk.

This is a reflection of the collective state of intelligence in our country. The new generations had it too easy because of what their predecessors created. As a result they expect everything to just work and instead of learning to contribute they are focused on selfishness and immediate gratification. Following the sheep in front of them they continue to vote but don’t really understand what for thereby perpetuating the downward spiral. The rich take advantage of this by donating to the party that they can influence which makes them money but costs us more. This forces workers to demand higher wages but their work ethic isn’t worth it. Moral is low, quality is lost while prices increase and patronage decreases. Common sense and consideration are gone because of pandering and over regulation. Reminds me of the saying “The beatings will continue until moral improves”.

Ask yourself what will be left when all these chain restaurants are gone? They will join the vast wasteland of defunct malls and other leisure/service related businesses that people can no longer afford due to maxed out credit. And where is our manufacturing base, long gone! Eating out is not a necessity and people will have to adjust as they have no choice. Well the cost has gone up wholesale however there's increases are nearly as terrible as they would like everyone to believe and so for the past four to five years especially real heavily within the past four all of these joints used a bit of a price hike on wholesale side to raise their prices in an exuberant man in other words if something went up a quarter they would raise it literally a $1.50 rather than just charging the extra 25 cents it was necessary these bastards convince the public that the price now has to jump to this and unfortunately for a while everybody the problem is their wallets are basically telling them they can't do it these companies are trying to hold steadfast to the higher price is because it is common throughout retail it doesn't matter if it's a restaurant it's still retail that wants the price goes up it never goes now they may run a sale periodically but they will never lower the price basically these restaurants and I can even say a lot of retail stores are mostly arguing with himself they know that they charge too much in fact McDonald's recently came out and admitted their a couple of weeks ago that they definitely got too stupid with prices their CEO straight up said it.
So basically it is slowly unraveling they are slowly starting to admit that they made large errors and that they need to figure out the directions to get but they're not going to lower the prices all at once simply because that would expose the fact that they never needed to be that high to begin with even though they are still bluntly admitting this is the case it's just people tend to notice things when they're standing at the cash register and they see the price versus when they read words in an article.
America has a cash flow problem the problem is literally amongst the population of course this income deficiency across the population is not in it basically the inflationary trajectory that we are currently on well we've actually been on that trajectory for a very long time I could say 16 years but everyone could easily argue 18 then there are good cases made for 20 years so we've been on a trajectory of inflation for quite some time I would say the only real reason why everybody's been bitching about it hardcore here in the past 3 to 4 years especially real heavily within the past year and a half to two years is simply because you know last decade perhaps 7 years ago everybody did grumbled it the price you're going up shrink inflation is becoming a thing etc etc but the difference was you get perhaps a 30 cent price hike every 6 weeks some items it might have happened every 3 weeks while we went from that to the big trend is literally you're going to see a dollar if not $2 overnight and then you're going to see an additional 50 cents increase somewhere in the next two to three weeks so it's bigger increases and it's more frequent that's why people tend to set up and take notice this is why a large portion of the idiotic population doesn't seem to realize that there was a problem even in 2013 everybody grumbled a lot of people might remember the grumbling but there's a lot of fuckers who straight up do not remember shit.
I mean inflation has greatly outpaced a lot of the profit margins that once stood but I can also say that the government had contributed to this in other manners one of the other ways that they have contributed would be the food stamps I mean post 2008 they made it so easy for everybody to get on it and they did so for one reason because it was a prop up / bailout for retailers this is why most retailers busted their ass to either put in a full-fledged grocery section if they didn't already have one or they at least bothered to carry and or expand grocery items and or food stuffs this is why a lot of people it was a bailout/propper here's the problem that only works for so long and then eventually it's effects level off.
So the way that you go after more guaranteed government money it is handed directly to your customer base is you raise price of course the screws everyone else paying out of pocket but at the end of the day it's a price hike across the board for everyone the difference is simply that you know Bob's money isn't considered steady or reliable money anymore because at any given minute is company could decide he needs to go and he'll join those in the unemployment line and he'll most likely become another food stamps cyst so he'll still be able to purchase food he'll just be doing it in a different way and or using currency provided by the government.
However the food stamp money is considered reliable money because that's a guaranteed payment and yeah there are very degrees as to what individuals get paid versus those with kids and or their taking care of relatives etc would get but the bottom line is they know that they're good for at least 150 bucks but they're also trying to Target those to get much more so this is why they raise the prices if they can make those people pay another $2 for the bottle of salad dressing then they have just secured a constant sale.
So that's where the money is to be made restaurants don't take EBT that's why they fail everywhere that doesn't take EBT notice how it is kicked in the balls even the place is to take EBT are honestly having trouble a lot of that is because they've taken on mass amounts of debt such as the case Walmart.
Hey so most of the inflation what you paying down at the grocery store or any other department or even over the restroom is largely made up! But did it do it that drastically no it did not they just put the word out there to convince you that you need to pay more they know the people will grumble but they'll still shut up and pay except for when they really truly cannot pay it so then they just don't show up at all well apparently we're in that realm.

Wow, that Sads is a bad disease. I sure hate how my gonads felt when I first got it.

The Ground Round was a favorite haunt, back in late 80s and early 90s. It was quite fun to hang out with friends and family, and enjoy tasty snacks and beverages, and at a very reasonable price. Houlihans was memorable also, but there were fewer of them in close proximity. 🥸

Never heard of those places. Well, before I even find them or even see them open, they'll be gone and only remembered as memories of a past time that was so much better.

OKAY CHICKEN LITTLE: the sky is not falling, money is being made by useful people, Americans by and large are very well off. If you are struggling find a way to be useful. Forget the do what you love bullshit, few get that opportunity. Man or woman up and quit whining.
