A good review of the Diana MR, DZ, and TC, thank you. There is definitely a price to pay for extreme resolution in terms of music genre versatility. The 1266 TC is stellar with well-recorded bass heavy music genres like EDM. A warm / tube setup can take the edge off to increase versatility for vocal driven music but some genres and albums still sound harsh and tinny like poorly recorded 80s and 90s pop and rock. Sometimes it's worth sacrificing a bit of resolution to get a more pleasant and consistent listening experience. TOTL headphones, like Hifiman Susvara and Abyss 1266 TC, need a greater investment in your set-up and more careful music genre matching. You get more out, but you have to put a lot more in.
Clearly a very experienced Diana listener who knows the sound of these headphones very well. Nice video! 😀
