I loved your argument about the gamemode and the type of KD you'll achieve, ie FFA is harder than TDM. Warface already did a move in the "right" direction by removing the Win/Loss Ratio from the public profile. And it actually really changed my way to play the game. I started SoloQueuing a lot since it's more fun for me.
AzafreakTV yeah, i remember the time that information was still on profiles, so many people where just quitting when they where loosing (absolutely stupid regarding money and xp) I dont see any disadvantage by removing the kd from the public profile.

Kd is such a big problem in storm. Everyone in my team wants kd and only 2-3 guys actually capture/defend. Yesterday 5 guys were at the command post and i was the only one trying to kill them while all 7 others were camping for their KD.

I do 15/30 but i am the one who saves the game by capturing at the last second

Removing the KD will reduce toxicity, reduce stress in matches, improve the fun factor by allowing people to just play for fun and objectives. And most importantly, it'll reduce the allure of players camping which annoys everyone.

Warface was the first fps I ever played so I started with a really shit kd but even now when I'm pretty decent at the game my kd is still like 0.8 because working off a low kd is pretty hard
I was at .8kd I'm now 1.703dk and I'm rank 49 in only 1 month.
If you started at a lower kd then .8 and now your .8 your beyond trash.
Yeah, I can agree again. People pay too much attenition to gaining those kills than to win the game. It's so annoying when it suddenly turns out to be 8v3 game. As for campers, words can't express enough my frustration when i meet "dog tag campers", expecialy on "Mohave" Bag and Tag. And of course, every time you stop for 5 seconds, you immediately get accused of camping -_-
The only way to show skill in this game, is by using non pay 2 win weapons.
Techno a good player is good with any gun.. A bad player is bad even if he has for example metasoma...

kd doesnt have a real matter with skills because in warface you cant know if the enemy is using 9 fps pc or 300 fps pc and the ping also makes huge difference especially laggers have no chance against 5 bars people and as you said it also depends also with your playing style in warface if you are camper you will probably get better kd so actually to know the real skills there is a lot of standards other than kd but kd is still one of those standard

What really sucks is that warface was my first PC FPS, and at first I sucked ass with the mouse/keyboard, but even now when I am improving and getting high K/D per game, my total average is still around 0.6
Love this video! I had a bit of an experiment with this and played terribly for about a month to get my K/D down. When joining ranked and other such round based games I was frequently told to leave or was kicked. In one game I went from 0.3 K/D to 4.3 just to prove to my teammates that it means nothing.
You winning in one match is not proof that you are good.
And kd does not mean nothing.
Having below 1kd is definitely proof that you are not a good player.
Totally right swiss .. My KD currently is 0.977 and even i do always 3.00 KD is hard to achieve that 0.001 . Most of the time im playing better than players who have KD about 1.3. This shows : the player is trying to always fix his kd by camping or tryhard to obtain stable and even higher kd. Otherwise if his KD is negative he leaves.
K/D was always something I wanted to talk about to my friends. Like the easiest way to get it up high is to farm on Storm or something like that. But the problem is, K/D actually gives you the players who match your K/D and not by rank. Let's say before Warface updated the "Professional players channel" requirements, I saw a low rank at somewhere between 13-21 and they played incredibly well. I looked at their K/D ratio, it was nearly 1.250 and mine was 1.3 at that time, now it's 1.181.
So, I'm still suspecting if Warface still uses K/D to find players. Also, we need automatic team balance while IN-GAME and not just while in lobby, this is also a reason why a lot of players leave the match. Just better high ranks put together against low ranks, which is very unfair.
Whatever happens to Warface, I still won't stop hating the K/D system until it's fixed somehow, but only love stupid moments and the game's graphics.

I agree with you. 90% of the time I was on the top of team LB. But had a .89kd, granted if I get spawn trapped I don't like to leave the match. But I also played as an aggressive sniper, and prefer close-quarter combat. Camping is very boring so don't like doing so, I preferred to hunt campers it was a lot of fun.
I have a 1.2 KD, but I always run default helmet and armor to make positive accounting profit from every game. I'm sure other people do similar things too.
Yeah.They should remove it . Like someone said , it will majorly reduce toxicity of people saying that you suck after they are looking at our KD . And the most important thing it will reduce stress , a lot . I met a medic today which played only for KD . He didnt even want to defuse something and do nothing but camping . I have a feel that a kid told him he sucks because of KD .

the balance is made with K/D soo its important, ex: if you have a low K/D you will have a better team, or if you have a friend with low K/D and you late join you will be the best on the room

Getting KDR removed from warface would be a good thing so that people would'nt judge player's skills by looking at the KDR. It also discourage players from raging and camping. Similar to overwatch (A game without a KDR system)
No it doesn't people don't play to get KD they play to get on the top in that game so they get the most reward.
one thing that you left out is that if a newbie gets 0.2 KD most of the time and 90% of those matches he gets kicked out because of it he'll obviously try finding easy ways to raise up his KD (camping and other tricks). Most of the campers are bad players that can only try playing like this without gettin kicked out of all the matches
I mean don’t get me wrong u are right but it depends on the style ur playing like if ur in a competitive team and there is a noob keeps dying way more then he kills I think absolutely he should get kicked since he is dragging the team down and u can judge a player by kd if there is a big difference not 100% of the time tho since there is camping but a more relaxed game style should obviously be just for fun 👍

Also, I’m fucking sick of dealing with my teammates trying to kick whoever has the lowest K/D in EVERY GAME. If you kick a “noob,” will said player want to keep playing? The kick feature should be removed entirely. Also hate when I get kicked at the end of a PVE match because it’s apparently funny.

EXACTLY. Half of the time Storm can drop your KD by so much.
I play storm, I always win and my kd never goes down.
It goes up when I'm protecting the point but down when I'm getting on the point. But it doesn't go down a lot when I'm protecting the point because on my way to the point I kill noobs.
The thing with KD, it creates a general opinion of a player and more often than not, that opinion is true. I see players with less than 1KD, generally they play bad with the odd game where they do well, I see alot of players with 2+KD, generally they play well, with the odd occasions where they have bad games. KD isn't always necessarily farmed. A lot of player with high ranks and high KD's also have a low amount of hours, so they have "fake" KD's. I myself have a 1.765, I have 1.730hours, and 100,000+ pvp kills, whereas someone the same rank as me, could have half the hours, half the kills, but double the KD. But as of right now, other than jumping into a game with a player, KD is the best way to judge their skill, they may not play at that KD, they may play better than it, or worse than it (if its consistently playing worse, then it's farmed), but it can still create a general opinion of a players skill without having to play a game with them.
Note: I'm not saying KD is important, nor is it how you should judge a player, just the means for an opinion on someone before getting to know their play style.

Whilst i agree with what you're saying, some indicator of stats would be useful, maybe even just a kd being displayed only showing 1.0+ or 1.0-
They need to change the k/d to rank games only. No quick play k/d orprivete room k/d only ranked match k/d.
Btw, people give too much attention to levels too i couldnt join a guild because i was rank 45 and not 50...

I don't think that there will be a disadvantage, but I think that it is still fun to be able to see what someones KD is. I mean like if you were to think about it you could take away what gun the guy is playing with and it won't make a difference to the gameplay. But it just gives more info on the guy. Not trying to hate on you man coz I love your videos but I don't think this is an ADVANTAGE to the gameplay. But keep up the good work ;D

yeah but imagine you are using friend's account right, and that account's kdr is 0.5 but you can play like 1.9 do the other players say that you're a good player at the first time ?... no ofc they gonna say you're a noob and stuff like that. how about you have account with 1.9 and you play like 0.5 right even if you do a lot of mistakes in-game no one gonna call you a noob or kick you or idk soo i hope you get it
not necessary remove it, just make an option to the players to hide it or something idk so it doesnt affect the gameplay, there is some players just camp to get a positive kdr in ranked matches and that cause you sometimes to lose the game because you have 2 or 1 player who plays for his kd not his team :/

Yes it would be cool if they removed kd from profile, but until the lazy ass devs do it and many other stuff asked for, better to remove the entire game from our computers

I dont mind k/d i have a 0,95 from 0,54 xd i see that i improved! Ur right about the campers, i dont play tdm if i dont have to also i like campers free kills after u find out how to kill them (always same spots) . I think the more annoying thing is players are just keep calling good players hackers.

genau, der Meinung bin ich auch. Wenn ich aber auf ein Profil klicke sehe ich nicht wo die KD zustande gekommen ist (ob in PTB oder TDM) Der TDM Spieler mit 1.5 kann genau so gut sein wie der PTB Spieler mit 1.0 Kd

I agree with you, K/D should be removed becoz it effects the gameplay in bad way. I thing you missed one point is that a lot of player will left the round in the middle becoz they don't get enough kill to maintain their K/D, which makes that round gameplay boring and frustrating for both team and opponents.
I had a k/d of 0.5 cuz I was really bad at the game bland now it's only 0.6 and I played like a God for alot of time 🤣🤣

Just make k/d private, all best games i play dont have k/d or it is private so people focus more on win rather than kills, and yea in WF k/d ruins matches sometimes.

0.975 is nearly 1 K/D. And please, I had 0.9+ K/D for 5 months and I played very well and bad. So, 0.9 is just like 1 K/D.

and also you forgot to mention the problem of low KD progress
for me for example when i started the game i had 0.3 because i got destroyed
and now im still strugling with that and people judging me for having 0.7 KD and it takes a really long time to improve it (4-5 game with a good KD for +0.001 KD :D)
Yassine Benyamina when i start i was 0.2 now im 1.2 and it took me 40 levels and 5 mounthes its not hard at start you just play co ops and try to aim only to the head go from easy to insane when you feel ready then your gameplay will be better because your aim is better ( dont play too much coop play pvp sometimes to remember campers spot or just to learn how to kill slide people) good luck! :)
