      You can make it w regular paper, I do it, it seems a little hard in the beginning to flip, and for a lightpad u can literally use a window

    I really love these tutorials and I would love to start making flip books.
    I remember making one in 6th grade (almost 2 years now) and my teacher asked if he could keep it to show the class cause it was really good.
    So ya, now I'm gonna try to do them again!
    The scene I did was a tree slowly getting closer and a bird inside a nest as the mother comes and feeds the baby. I don't remember much, I think the baby fell out or something like that idk.
    Anyway! This was amazing! Thank you very much!

    • @ezslez8624
      @ezslez8624 5 лет назад +6

      @Damon Hunt Stop motion and flip books are a type of animaton, buddy... The animation you're thinking of is most likely traditional (2D on paper like in a lot of Disney's most popular films), digital (The same thing as traditional but on a tablet or other device) and CGI (3D animation like Moana or Coco). Animaton is a category.

    • @moondough_
      @moondough_ 5 лет назад +3

      Bobby Boberson Laika doesn't make cgi movies, it makes stop motion movies. The two types of animation @BlobbyFish was talking about were hand drawn animation and stop motion animation.

    I've always had a strong imagination when I animate or draw so I can definitely say that I've had a sense of mass and distorting pats by stretching them to create fast movement.

  • @m7amdsn
    @m7amdsn 5 лет назад +10

    Your videos are so helpful, when people do these stuff they just show us the end result and a fast motion of them drawing but you told us what to do step by step your a legend, I hav always liked animation, I did my first stop animation because of you and I may do my first flip book because of you.

      You don't have to use fancy equipment. I used to make them in the corners of my spiral notebooks. :) He didn't use any markers or anything in this one besides a pencil and pen. You could find a small notebook or maybe cut down your own paper. This is only my second video of his, but I'm sure you can find a tutorial for binding your own someplace, too. :)
