Welcome home, I’ve been working k for Crete for 3 years. No complaints excellent dispatch and top equipment. Top dollar pay plus profit sharing ….!
Good luck my friend drive safe can't wait to see where we going in next couple of weeks
Sounds like a great start. Best of luck with your new job!!
That’s awesome man. I’ve always heard great things as well.
Congrats on joining the right team!!
Looks like a good company. The truck looks Brand News. Glad you was able to get a clean truck.

Thank you for sharing the insight. ✌️
Subscribed. Crete is on my short list. And I mean a very short list. It’s between them and Ashley Furniture. Crete pays better (WAY BETTER) but Ashley would get me home every weekend. With Crete it would be 12/2 or 21/3. Bonus, riders can be 5 years old and I’ve got 2 grandchildren that I would love to have with me some. I did not know Crete did profit sharing. That’s good to know. It was one of the things I like about AF. What about insurance cost? I wasn’t able to get that information from the recruiter when we talked. I have been approved for both companies, so it’s a matter of which one I feel would be best for me.
Welcome to the team! A lot of the negative remarks about the company are from worthless drivers that either got in trouble here or couldn’t get on in the first place. They are serious about communicating being key here. If things are not going right let someone know. Don’t get on the Facebook page and post nonsense and complain. They will work with you in most instances. 8 years here and I couldn’t be happier.
I would have said, "You expect me to drive FIVE HOURS for orientation? 😆
Nope
I left Knight after 11+ years. I went with J&R Schugel for 6 months but that wasn't for me. I joined Crete 2 months ago and so glad I did.
I don’t blame you to quit swifty bro you are a great driver keep reaching your goals mien 🔥🔥🔥💯
Drive a dump truck. Your home every night I made 80k doing it. Now I run equipment and make way more.
Check out joy of trucking. He drives for them. He has. A brand new t680 and his wife gets to ride with him. And they will shut you down when the weather is bad
No they don’t make us shut down. It’s still up to us but we take that risk and if we get in trouble we get fored
Will Crete hire recent CDL graduates? I live 30 minutes from their NC location.
Nah, but they'll hire you for 6 months experience. Just keep your records clean.
did you give swift a 2 weeks notice before you quit or how did you go about telling them your moving on ?
Hi Guys! I need some advice from pro like yall.
I want to drive trucks like yall but don't know how to go about it.
Should I join a company that offers CDL training or should i apply for a "trucking academy" and pay out of pocket (1,000$).
Any advice will be appreciated thank you.
Welcome to Crete 🎉
How did you get a potential extra $50K? You was only making $40K at Swift?
Looks like you live in a nice place...out in the middle of no where. What are your thoughts on having worked for Swift....GOOD? BAD? ...REGRETS?
They usually turn there trucks in a 500,000 miles
Good to know. Thanks 👍
@longhauljohn4153 joy of trucking has truck 48152 his name is Kevin and his wife is Tanya they are out of DeLand Florida you made the right decision to go with crete they don't want drivers driving in bad weather they pay for being shut down for weather
If you get your hazmat and willing to team but not run team miles I can almost guarantee you will be getting better money with only 1yr experience
.64 is definitely garbageeeeeeeee salary
Where are you at making more?
Make that dough
So you worried about being fired from swift so you held off on posting videos....but you post videos of Crete...because you are not worried about getting fired there?
This dude surged for swift?
Good luck, give it about 6 months and your attitude will change 😂
So you go from one shit company to another? Rookie, a driver with years experience would not drive for either one.
Come on dude go somewhere else with the negativity no need for that super trucker
Editing is amazing.
I'm not knowledgeable on "profit sharing" but, with 5000+ drivers, that's only a few hundred dollars...
HI, yeah, let say they only keep 4,500 or fewer drivers after 1 year of working because the turnover rate is high in trucking. That could be about $3k to $4k a driver at the end of the second year. It's better than a pizza party at the end of the year and no money. 🤣🤷♂️
@@longhauljohn4153 excellent point. I actually might reconsider.
But, it definitely isn't a one size fits all investment.
It’s a few thousand dollars every year. Builds interest as well. Can’t beat free money for retirement. You’re 100% vested after 6 years. Been here for only 7 years and my retirement account is nice. I’m 30 now, and I’ll be able to comfortably retire at 45, if I wanted. I’ll be staying longer but it’s not impossible to retire here as a millionaire.
