- We were so excited this week to take delivery of the BRAND NEW Cort X Manson Matt Bellamy signature, we wasted no time to plug them in and insist that Jack gives us his best rendition of some of our favourite Muse songs and we wanted to share them with you!
More than being just a fantastically priced guitar the Manson Meta Series MBM-1 Matthew Bellamy Signature is probably one of the best 'bang for your buck' guitars we've come across in a while. @@jacc4928 it's holding up pretty good. Had it for 3 months now and it's my daily guitar to play with. In terms of finish on my model is all right but I didnt expect top notch quality so I was okay with it. it's definitely a must buy if you want that MB signature guitar shape 🤩 overall I'm happy with this guitar 👍🏻

@@jacc4928 well I wouldn't try to scratch it with coins or any sharp objects hahah. But I've tried scratching it with my nails and it didn't left any strong marks. The finish (or the whole guitar lol) I occasionally clean them whenever I feel it's getting dusty since I hang it up on the wall 😎

Just purchased one of these with the Sustainiac in the neck and the Manson PF-1 in the bridge. Its absolutely awesome to play and gives my Schecters a good run for the money.
@@Domn879 Hello Iqbal....I just love Schecter guitars (have 7 of them) and had the sun valley with the sustainiac but could not get on with the floyd rose. Its why in this instance that I went for the Manson as its a hard tail. It takes a while to get used to the sustainiac but awesome fun. This is the first guitar i have had with a kill switch and i just love that thing. Take care, happy playing and all the best for 2023.
@@Domn879 This is my first Manson and i must say its just so comfortable to play. The neck is awesome. Not too sure what the standard pick ups are like as i specified specials. Good luck.

recently took delivery of the matt black finish one. unfortunately the coating was so easily damaged that i returned the guitar a few days later. looking for something similar now, tips are welcome :)
Hi bro , I feel you man and sorry for your return . Do you think the matte grey one sensitive too ? I hate when matte becomes shiny where you touch the body while playing . So do you advice me to buy the grey one ?

I just played this guitar at my local gitter center and holy shit, those pick ups sound amazing. Especially for the price. I compare it to similar priced guitars like LTDs and they sounded so muddy in comparison. The build quality is slightly lacking in comparison, but who cares, sound over prettiness any day
Guitar’s ok but I subscribe for Jack’s playing it’s superb. Worth enduring ‘you can learn to play a blues sowlo...’ for the nth time.
I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but the beginning seemed so slow and frustrating

Anybody else found the stock strings getting stuck in the tuners when you try changing them?
They're locking tuners, you need to loosen the knob that's behind the tuners to unlock them

yeah and thumbs up for commenters pointing out one of the cheapest possible woods for that price tag. it's not about tonal nuances of baswood or bad press: it's about the price for that guitar when you can buy a fender for same tag with much better specs and aftermarket value
What Fender with H-H for £500???
The only possible problem for me with this new Manson MBM1 is the fretboard choice (Indian Laurel), because it's cheap looking. All the rest is extremely awesome and it delivers everything you could possible want for that price. I own the Cort MBC1 version that they released years ago and it's one of the best guitars I've ever had.

Basswood for this price? Really?
Don't let the bad press about Basswood fool you, it's actually a really important tonewood. Super light and with a warmer tone than say Alder, it works great with humbuckers. Suhr, Music Man, Ibanez, EVH and even Fender Japan all frequently use it on much higher spec guitars, it certainly doesn't let the Manson down at all!
Try one, you'll dig it!
