  • Hi there, check it out! I'm gonna show you how to install the X1 Pro Gen 4 on any BSA threaded frame. In my case, I'm putting it on my Aventon Adventure Fat Tire E-bike. I need more power and torque, especially when I'm going up steep hills. I don't want to slow down to 17 miles per hour and hold up traffic. Another reason I chose this conversion kit is so I can pull my bike trailer when I go grocery shopping. Plus, it'll increase the throttle speed from 20 mph to the top speed, so I won't sweat so much when I commute to work in the summer.
    This mid-drive electric bike conversion kit is the ultimate. It's got advanced torque sensing, instant throttle capabilities, and customizable tuning. The X1 Pro Gen 4 is made for extreme power.
    I'm installing the 5000W/250N.m version,
    The best part is, this kit fits over 90% of all bike frames. It's not just powerful, it's versatile and even works on fat tire bikes.
    But the best experience when you install it on full suspension bike like mtb bike
    Here is the Tools and Materials Needed:

    - Screwdrivers
    Benefits of the X1 Pro Gen 4:
    - *Increased Power and Torque:* The 5000W motor provides significant power for steep uphills and heavy loads, making it easier to handle tough terrains and towing a bike trailer.
    - *Higher Top Speed:* The throttle can be set to achieve higher speeds, improving your commuting experience.
    - *Advanced Features:* Torque sensing, instant throttle capabilities, and customizable tuning enhance the overall riding experience.
    By following these steps, you'll transform your Aventon Aventure into a high-powered e-bike capable of handling extreme conditions and heavy loads with ease. Enjoy the improved performance and convenience!

      Hello @levilies9956,
      I am delighted that you enjoyed my video. I am skilled with my hands, but not so much with video capturing and editing. That is why I used the Insta360 x3 and the remote to add the GPS speed in my test ride.
      I would like to suggest that you test ride an Aventon ebike before making a decision. They have local dealers all over the country. You can visit their website to find a shop near you. They offer seven models to choose from.
      If you are looking for a commuter bike, I recommend the Level 2. It has a top speed of 28 mph, a torque sensor, integrated headlights, taillights, turn signals, a color screen, fenders, a rear rack, and a USB power bank under the display. Currently, they are offering an extra battery for free (valued at $500) and $200 worth of accessories. The bike is priced at $1900, but with the current offer, you can get it for only $1200. If you do not need the extra battery, you can sell it.
      Aventon also has a great Facebook group called Aventon Adventure Owners Group, where you can connect with other Aventon owners and enthusiasts.
      I wish you the best of luck in choosing the right bike for you.

    Thank you for making this video it is very informative and making me want to get one for myself to play.
    I’m thinking of trying to add another motor somehow maybe using a chain and sprocket on the other side of the motor linking the 2 together
    So it has better takeoff speed and stop the motors getting to hot.
    Do you think it would be possible to machine a spindle extension so you can put a sprocket on the other side of the motor?

      I am happy to share my experience with this excellent motor. I have a question for you. What type of bike are you planning to install the second motor on? You may not need an additional motor. If you use a 72volt battery, it will provide you with ample power and torque. Try to keep the modifications minimal to fully enjoy the capabilities of this fantastic motor and have the best possible experience. When you install it, ensure you use a good quality suspension mountain bike. I have the Gen 3 motor on my Specialized Demo 8, and I absolutely love everything about the bike. It's an absolute blast to ride, which is why I purchased the Gen 4 motor. I've been enjoying it on my fat tire bike. The primary purpose of this bike is commuting to work during the summer and pulling my bike trailer when I go grocery shopping locally. Please let me know what type of bike you have. I would appreciate your feedback. Let's help and learn from each other.

    Great video! I’m also considering this motor for a Kona Operator build. Super interested to see how it works for you!

      @eBikeXtream  Месяц назад +1

      The Kona opera is used. Press fit 107mm, So you need to get the 120mm, You also need a Spacers. For the spacers, you can get it from Electrified bike company, Talk to adam Ostlund, He always chats and helps members on the CYC Owners group.. On facebook, I'm probably gonna work on the Kona Operator, Downhill bike, next month, I'll put the Gen. 3 on my specialized. Demo eight, And I print the spacer using my 3D printer That I purchased from the Micro center. I use ABS filament. The best motor from cyc is the x1 Gen4 And the stealth gen3, Skip the The photon, Overheat" issue, and controller. ruclips.net/video/5icbqkYn4do/видео.htmlsi=mG1H5p7Cie4qc1fK

      @thecampokid Nice option, but it's very expensive, Even if you choose there lowest model, And end up getting a higher power motor and 17Ah battery. You're gonna end up paying at least $6000-$10000,Since you have the kona operator, you can get the cyc and the battery either. From Electrified bike company or bicycle motor works, again it's your choice.

      @thecampokid Keep trying. Never give up. Do you know how much I pay for the kona Operator? .... $500 only , I also paid $500. For the specialized demo eight Carbon Frame , I got it from an owner for one of the businesses I deliver.
      Him and he's two sons, They're professional downhill bikers. So you tried to help me out by giving this insane price? Always ask people, you know. If they have something that they're not using. Always check the facebook marketplace.

    Great video! Thinking of doing this with my Pace 500.3. Are you still able to use the Aventon included hub motor?

    • @eBikeXtream
      @eBikeXtream  25 дней назад

      I'm glad you'd like it, and for Doing this on your pace 500, It is possible, but you're gonna end up spending a lot of money. Because you're not gonna able to use the bike battery. Because it's not powerful enough, you need to upgrade you're Derailler, You need sram eagle XO, XE, DX, Aventon Derailler Doesn't like the Hi Torque, And you're not going to be able to use the hub motor, Because you gotta take your bottom brackets out. Which has integrated torsensor, So you're only going to be able to the ride in 20mph, Using the throttle, It's pointless, Plus it's gonna fight you're cyc motor, So the best experience to get a full suspension mtb bike I'm converted to a monster, I already have full suspension downhill, a bike and I have the gen 3 on it, And I'd love everything about it, By the way, it's a specialized demo 8, Downhill bike. You can look on the marketplace and you might find a good deal, That's my recommendation to you, Or the worst, You can get a trek marlin 5, or 6, Around $400-500, My first conversion, was brand newTrek marvel 6, I love it, Is the only think it's missing is full Suspension, Once you tried, you will never go back. 🚵‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚲

    • @eBikeXtream
      @eBikeXtream  26 дней назад

      I'm glad you liked the video! 🎥 Unfortunately, no shifting gears for now with this bike. ⚙️ It's designed for low speed and has a loose chain, so I had to use a strap to keep it tight. 🚴‍♂️ On the bright side, my Specialized Demo 8 downhill bike has a high-quality Sram Eagle XO Derailler, allowing me to reach higher speeds. 💨 I've also installed a Cyc X1 Pro Gen 3 5000W Motor. ⚡️ To further improve performance, I'm removing the rear hub to reduce weight and resistance on the motor. 🛠️ I've ordered a traditional wheel from AliExpress, which will limit me to a 3-speed gearing system. ⚙️ But I'm building a seventy-two-volt battery for higher speed and torque. 🔋 If the 3 gears didn't work well, I'll switch to a single 28t and change my chainring from 38t to 52t to reduce ghost pedaling. 🚴‍♂️ The best derailleur for this powerful motor is Sram Eagle XO, Sram DX, or Sram GX. #BikeLife #CyclingEnthusiast #DIYProject 🔧💪

    What is your bikes battery stock BMS rated for? I want to do this with my Voltbike, but im wondering if its worth running an x1 at 48V and 20-25 amps

    • @eBikeXtream
      @eBikeXtream  8 дней назад

      Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your input. I am not using the stock battery with this kit because it is not powerful enough. I am using a jumbo shark battery that is 52v 25Ah with a 50A BMS. It can peak over 70A, but I cannot use it for too long. You can use your battery on street mode, but it is not ideal for this motor. If you want to enjoy the best performance, you should use a 72v battery. I am currently building a 72v battery with Samsung 50S cells and a Daly 100-200A BMS. Once I finish the battery build, I will share the video and show all the parts needed and how I built it. If you do not have the skills to build your own battery, you can purchase one from Bicycle Motor Works or Electrify Bike Company. This motor can be used with batteries ranging from 36v to 72v, but the performance will vary depending on the battery cells and BMS rating. Using a battery with a higher voltage will provide better torque and faster speed. You can also use your current battery as a backup in case you run out of juice, but only use it on street mode at a maximum speed of 25mph.
