those two are such a better duo than i expected at the beginning. i also love that ever since grubby said pobelter should be more demanding pobelter transformed to an ambitious football dad yelling at his son from the sidelanes
It also helps that Pob has actually played dota so he can translate things into terms Grubby understands
Hope Grubby sticks with League for a while. Would love to see him jump into ranked when he reaches level 30

Yeah this was my fave part too. Grubby just trying to get comfortable, POB getting frustrated that Grubby isn't exploding people with all his power.

33:30 could be that you have a read-only folder for league of legends. Happens in other games, too - settings don't get saved when you launch the game next time. Try going to where u have LOL installed right clicking folder and clearing the 'read-only' flag and tell it to apply to all subfolders.
Isn't it write available by default?
@@UncleForHire It should be, I don't know how it happens but i do remember sometimes copying or installing stuff and the folder being read-only, probably because of the parent folder's settings.
they got a real good dynamic, enjoying them a lot. grubby seems really relaxed and having fun.:)

Loving the content between you and pobelter, I like it that you ask a lot of questions and very specifically, i notice pobelter sometimes might not mention some things but you somehow always ask the right questions to learn those things, you earned a new sub

Viktor is a comfort pick of mine. I love that he can spec for more 1v1, AoE, or poke and even offtank isn't terrible on him (dun, a high elo Vik main sometimes does a tanky build v all AD that works pretty well)

Grubby's lane posture gives me anxiety every time I watch him play so aggressive and leaning toward the side of the jungler all the time with no vision.
Dont forget if you press the alt key before casting many abilities, they will self cast and auto cast at your character location. Very usefull for quicly dropping stuff like viktor w field while trying to run away or kite

To clarify the "shows path on map on ping": some pings are more contextual than others. If you ping-drag-right you do "On the Way" which shows others a big arrow with your champ name ingame and your pathing towards them on the map as a green line. If people see this they might interpret it as attacking together or coming over to help.
Ping with normal G on enemies to target them as "attack".
Btw you seem to share the same taste in champ selection as I do. I like your delve into LoL very much and made me start up the game again aswell. Keep up!
Grubby and Pobelter have great synergy. This is amazing content.
America definitely has its own unique cuisine. Particularly things like soul food, texmex, bbq, and cajun quisine. Lots of slow roast and stew style dishes are to note. Buttermilk biscuits and american style gravy. I really wish scotch eggs were more popular in the us. It would be so perfect for us

League is really fun to watch, especially with Grubby's ping it seems like a fun opportunity
I hard disagree with the comments that pob isn't a good coach. I would say he's super good at not overwhelming with details. Yeah there are mistakes, but by focusing on building understanding on one concept of a time, you learn way faster in the long run.
I'm not 100% sure (but close enough) but I think the stuff resets every game when you change it during a game. If you change stuff from the client outside of a game, it should stick.

I recommend turning on clamp casting for Viktor so stuff in 22:00 doesn't happened. 😅
You have a knack for playing Viktor with how fast you got used to vector targeting, something that is only applicable to Viktor (E) & Rumble (R) in the entire game
A lot of players struggled with that part but it seems like you're clicking with Viktor really well in the few games you've tried him out :D

You can tell it's been a long time since Pobelter has played gainst a bronze Yi
Or just Yi in general. Yi is just rarer at the top of the ladder since he has basically no utility and junglers often become second supports up there. Yi is like Belveth if she didn't have a knockup.
Support is one of the best roles for unorthodox picks, and creativity.
Hence temo support, Oriana support, Tyler1/rivern River ivern with smite

I've also played LoL, Dota, and Hots; and I don't think the concept of immediately punishing your opponents' missteps is unique to LoL. It's just growing pains with any new moba; not being sure of what the 'areas of influence' you and your opponents' champions have. That'll all come with time, and learning and remembering what all the champs do (mobas in general have such big learning curves because it's not enough to know what your champ does, but what your opponents' champs do too)

The problem with league is that you die very quickly a lot of the time and this makes it very hard to learn what is even happening as a new player.

League is so inflexible by design that people who one trick off-meta picks like Bard top lane have 5000 word google docs they link in champ select begging people not to queue dodge. Riot really doesn't like when a champion is viable in more than 2 roles because it makes them too safe to draft early in pro play. Personally I think the game needs more flex picks, because if you have a safer early draft then your later picks can be more diverse whereas right now the safest way to draft is to lock in the current most broken champions every single game so every game is dull and repetitive.

Everyone is bad when they are new so this isn't personal. But it's hilarious how frustrated is with Grubby when he doesn't make the most basic plays. Like why are you running from a Lucian 2 levels lower and no hps or mana haha.

Grubby before you start searching for a match you really need to look up a rune page online for your champ, set up the page and name it something clear, remove rune pages you arent using and stop using the auto rune feature. you grief your own games before they start with bad runes so often.

No hate on POB but he really isn't a good coach. He's doesn't explain why you should do this or that and doesn't guide you really unless you ask for it. It's like if you're not actively ask him what to do he'll just say nothing almost the whole time.

It's the best as a coach, you need to know WHY a player is coming to the wrong conclusions so you can work on the thinking process behind it otherwise it just looks like random moves
It's not excuses, it's explaining why a mistake was made
pobelter - worst coach ever. no gameplan. not explaining anything. like if he not explaining fundamentals about wave managment and gameplan for 1st waves - he useless.
