Honestly with how early you annex/puppet them it really doesn't matter. Your compliance will climb pretty fast regardless, I think it's more worth it to puppet bigger nations and annex smaller ones because the process of integrating a small puppet cost the same pp as a large one so I see it being more useful for larger nations where you would want/need to start off at higher compliance. I can reasonably see not wanting to spend the pp on integrating a small nation when the compliance builds fast enough already anyways
Dude you don't have to switch every supply depot to motorization manually. When you click on an armee group you can switch on motorization for the whole armee group. Then they will switch the necessary supply depots automatically. You will save tons of trucks this way and don't have to keep an eye on it anymore. The button is in the top right of the armee group detail window and looks like on the supply depots.
As a German, i can totaly agree with these names for the divisions, they aren't definately made up or made fun about. Love how accurate Ludi can name all these (giggle)
austria has no content because they usually get annexed before the war even starts. Norway has more "playable" content that doesn't require derailing basically everything whereas austria has to be basically completely non-hist
@@ayathados6629 In Hoi3 the Anschluss event actually let you just join the axis. And tbh, i think they should do that for 4 as well. Yes unhistorical....but pretty much anything you do in this game is not historical. That is kind of why its a game and not a movie. And its not derailing anything toooo much.

I already thought Germany must be ultra op, since you can now Rush 1940 Heavy/ mediumTanks even faster and get all the buffs of the designer in the process(long research time) Plus being able to doge media Bills by changing to the Kaiser meaning you can use them early game but will still be massiv in plus with pp despite the designers.

Furthermore, selling all bombers (med+heavy+naval) for high prices will get you a nice boost, equivalent to the IC of a civilian factory. Italy and Japan immediately buy any planes put on the market in 1936.

Once that event triggers, then you can just delete the division and help Nationalist Spain with new Volunteers.

It's always been as soon as Paris falls, the country falls. I've always just rushed for Paris, it's the only tile you need if you have them under a 100% collaboration. It also doesn't mess up your German France. You can still under the decisions tab select to collaborate the government and Vichy France will merge with it and then you go through the autonomy system to get their fleet for operation sea-lion.

Why wouldnt you switch the starting units all to cav except for the volunteers? THat way, you have much more equipment to spare. Assign Weichs as General and Kluge as Field marshal, to reduce the consumption supply and max the xp gain...

you are 100% right. Whenever there is a new patch, I always start out with germany lmao. Even during EU4 DLCs that have nothing to do with europe, I'll still start as a HRE nation and most likely brandenburg or teutons haha

The Panzer 3 was equipped with a 5.7 cm or 57mm cannon while the first variants of the Panzer 4 had a short barreled 7.5 cm or 75mm cannon. Later on, the Panzer 4 was improved with a long barreled 7.5cm high velocity gun which was pretty good at taking care of most armor used by the Allies.

Yep , Germany trying its best to cover tank production by making it seem like tractors , yet selling actual tanks in international market , thereby i propose while the MEFO bill is active you cant use the market for selling tanks
clearly you didn't....make sure you have the equipment production and spam them when they're at 20% so you can have as many as I do. You can also convert other divisions to cav as needed to get extra equipment from them!

You did get the prompt that the Spanish Civil War occurred you clicked dismiss on it without reading it. To counter the debuff to armor on your tanks you could add sloped armor to the design of your tanks which will counter the debuff to armor at a small increase to production cost.

Personally, I like to let Austria do all their factory focuses. Its not a lot, but its a nice bump and they'll keep building all the while, too.

Once I stop having headaches trying to understand the gameplay of HoI4, I will probably play the Greeks or Turks to re-create their ancient empire.
Why would you go for CONSTRUCTION instead of PRODUCTION. Multiplayer wise isn't PRODUCTION more important?
