3:52 (exit 184) is the exit to the neighborhood where I grew up in Euclid, OH. It was always a challenge to navigate over two lanes in less than a half of a mile, so many times I would take Exit 186/Euclid Ave/US 20 to get home from that side of town.
The Opportunity Corridor is a joke, a roadway infested with traffic signals, they should have built is as a full freeway. It takes forever to travel that road to many vehicles back up ay each intersection. They need the intersections with at grade separations. They have two traffic signals about 1 furlong (1/8 mile) apart a major chock point. The worst design highway on the state.
@@user-ci9ri4fl5pBuckeyeChessie It was supposed to be a full freeway from E. 55th St. to I-271 as I-290 but NIMBYism and a referendum from the City of Shaker Heights prevented ODOT from doing so. So the Opportunity Corridor was the best they could do in terms of compromise.
@@ryanearles2024 Yes I have old road maps displaying thew proposed I-290, this is the largest area in Cleveland without a freeway. Yet the opportunity corridor does not go along the original proposed routing of I-290, so this short highway should not have to be a compromise. This roadway does not go through any neighborhoods, per say. Yet traffic congestion is horrible. I had to go to Cleveland Clinic a few times and I take Carnegie to I-90 which is a lot less congested with traffic and traffic signals. Plue the opportunity corridor does not even have shoulders, it has curbs, if someone broke down, have a flat tire or an accident there is no way ti get the vehicle off the roadway, another intelligent design.
@@user-ci9ri4fl5pBuckeyeChessieI guess ODOT thought it would be a good idea to build a shortcut for traffic going to the University Circle from I-90 without going thru Downtown. I guess ODOT didn't think things thru.
You should do I-480 in the Cleveland area from the Western I-80 Terminus in Olmstead falls to I-80 in Streetsboro, about 40 minutes. That's start to finish.
No snow? This must be why they were talking about moving the Steelers-Bills game to Cleveland, but ultimately they decided to just push the game back a day...

I'm wondering if you also did I-490/Opportunity Corridor, I-480, and the West Shoreway (OH-2)?

This was the last video for the Cleveland area. Will have to get the other roads next time.
You passed right near my house off of the State Route 175 exit in Euclid, OH.

That's crazy. Orlando had one half that bad and completely rerouted it during the I4 Ultimate Project.

Actually, this video was filmed back in November. Cleveland has some snow on the ground now.
"THE CLEVE"
There's a couple of rather tight turns there to keep the truckers busy, but all in all, not bad.
Lots of TOTSOs on I-90 in the Cleveland Metro. In fact, there are a ton of TOTSOs in. The Cleveland Metro.
