Thanks. My cheap unit doesn’t have those wires with loops but since my only option is a new camera I’m going to try snipping wires. I think those wires are for side view reverse. Why these cheap units change their settings after about a year is crazy! And don’t let you get to settings.
Thanks man🫡 I am amazed that this was just a stupid wire I had to cut when I tore my whole car apart tryna figure out what was making it to it. Thanks 🙌🏽
Thank you thank you thank you I thought I would have to take the or send the camera back even very helpful you've made my day thank you thank you thank you
Hello, nice vid! Do you know how to avoid the Black screen showing up while you are not in reverse? I instala a camera on my manual car, once I go forward the radio give me a Black screen, like if its trying to active the camera
I got a backup camera recently and it already had the wiring going to the old camera. The new camera has white black red yellow and green wiring The old camera has white black red and yellow, there's no green wire. I wired it altogether and left out the green wire. It show that its opposite of what it should be. What wire should I cut or splice to reverse the picture?
Hitlow sorry I dont have the answer to that. Trial and error if you've run out of resources. Just be ready to splice them back together if it doesn't work. Sorry.
Hi, Do you know how I can fix the same problem on my 2008 dodge grand caravan? The lines suddenly disappeared and no beep sound when you're close to an object though you see the images but in a blurry manner? Thanks
Not 100% sure Lenny, but on some cameras if you cut those wires you lose the lines. If that's the case maybe yours finally corroded and broke? You could crawl under there and follow the wires to see if there's a break.
What would you have done if you're backup camera is getting power but when you put it in reverse there is no image? This is my problem which I was hoping you would have addressed. 😀😀
I had my camera out in at a radio dealer. It is reversed and no lines. I clipped the whit wire and sure enough it is now right but when I clipped the green I did get any lines.
So even if I get a new camera it's not gonna fix it. I pretty much need to do something like this to fix it huh. I'm having the same problem. But I bought a rear view mirror video Cam front and rear. And that's what's going on with my backup camera. Grrr. But they refunded me my money and I get to keep the unit. So I would like to try to fix it
@@sirbucketmouth8386 thanks for response and time. a new development which i want to share. i was trying to remove the camera and as a last resort turned the camera upside down. the sides flipped on the screen and worked as it should..no instructions came with the camera but my guess is this option is there for front and rear mounting. thanks again
I'm annoyed AF right now. I have what looks to be same camera as you. The instructions say to cut wire if facing forward, leave the wire if facing backwards. That's not correct. I did a nice tape and shield job on the harness so now I have to un-do it all to cut his wire lol
Man I’m sorry to hear that! My camera came with absolutely NO instructions. I had to scour the internet before I found a small post in a forum that made me try it. I videotaped it in case other people could use the help. I was fortunate that it worked. On the bright side….it’s not a high buck camera if you need to try again! :-/
To whom this may concern: My camera wire doesn't have those 3 little wires , how do I reverse the image?? I'll have a 4 channel Mini MDVR soon and (I THINK) it has image reversing on it? This is the camera i have: ruclips.net/video/igx3OCVfN7o/видео.html
Thank you! After countless videos, blogs and ridiculous advice from installers, dealers as well as Pioneer, you fixed the problem in 5 minutes
You’re welcome! So glad it helped.
Thank you! Couldn't find anything on this except for your video.. worked perfectly!
Thanks man, I was going crazy with the same problem.
Same here
Looking at lots of videos and asking, you solved my problem in under a minute.
Thanks a lot!
Glad it helped!

you're the man. thanks a bunch for posting this video! i just hope it'll work on my stock RAV4 camera
Thanks man🫡 I am amazed that this was just a stupid wire I had to cut when I tore my whole car apart tryna figure out what was making it to it. Thanks 🙌🏽
It helps a lot…. Thank you so much !
Solved my problem. I just cut the white wire. It has green and also red. Thank you.
Thank you thank you thank you I thought I would have to take the or send the camera back even very helpful you've made my day thank you thank you thank you
So glad to help!
It worked, thanks ❤
Thanks for help but in my case the green cable was to switch camera side and the white cable was to get the lines.
This is the best guide.
1) CUT GREEN WIRE = REVERSE IMAGE
2) CUT WHITE WIRE = SHOW THE REVERSE GREEN/EMBER/RED GUIDELINES
Thanks, also just an FYI some rear cameras they have a little button. They would do the trick. Thanks.
Thanks bud👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks. 👍
Thank you thank you!!!
Ha ha! Glad it helped!

Hi. Can you do a video on how to fix reversed backup camera on kingslim dash camera d1.thanks
Awesome it worked 😀, thanks man 👍

I wired mine to the reverse light so it only gets power when I reverse.
I had my camera out in at a radio dealer. It is reversed and no lines. I clipped the whit wire and sure enough it is now right but when I clipped the green I did get any lines.
I had to restart the vehicle to make the change take effect. Hope that helps!
your video might have been ok but when your volume is where you can't hear what you are saying so what good is the fking video!
My reaview image is upside down, what should I do my camera came from Amazon
If it's license mounted I'd take the bolts out and try flipping the camera over.
Aw my camera doesn’t have the green or white wires 😩
how to remove markings on backup camera, i am havign two markings one from my dash cam and one from car
hi my camera has 2 a white wire and it says to cut it, to remove those guide lines.
Sangat membantu, terus bole flip
Thank you I will!
HELP ME PLEASE!!! I get this screen with that message but my screen is black no image, any help would be appreciated
Did you get it fixed? I have the same problem
Mine went upside down when i cut both. I soldered back white and i was back to the backwards image
If it went upside down, did you try flipping the camera? That might have solved both problems at once by reversing the image as well?
the image look Black and white??? is correct??
i ask beacuse a friend has a Pionner and when put rear camera the image look black and white...
It is not black and white, but the color is poor. I don’t think that it is the fault of the pioneer, but of the $25 camera!

Sounds like a win win!
Dammit man, I've only got one green wire.
Yeah how do you reverse the image if your camera doesn't have any loops on the power and video input joint.
If there’s no option in the settings on your head unit and no wiring except hookups, I don’t know. Sorry.
hey, did you ever find the answer? i'm thinking my stock camera in my Toyota RAV might not have the loop. i'm thinking get a new camera if it doesn't?
@@hoanguyen5839 . No not manually. I had to find a camera with a little wire loop to cut for reversing the image
I only see the white wire😭 anyone can help me this is the closest video I could found
Oh man.... most of the cameras out there do not have such loop wires!!!!!!!!
👍
I have the same problem...after watching your video, i checked my camera..it had only green loop, which i cut. but problem remains....any suggestions
Did the green loop add lines? Perhaps there is a setting in your head unit if you go through the camera menu? Beyond that I don’t know.
