Hi. You can find the place on Google Maps called : Sueno del Mar. They rented a room to me on Airbnb. I didn't drive in the North part of the island, but from what I have read before the roads get worse up in the North. I only seen a few areas with all of those pot holes though. I was probably dumb to give a woman a ride home and I was getting a little scared of where we were going, the road going to her house turned to mud. And many areas don't have street lights. To make it worse my rental car even had tint on the full front of the windshield. I should have refused the car when I seen the front windshield was completed tinted. I think I used Budget Rental car.
I seen it sometimes. But I would not say it particular safe. Not for your bike or you. Add horrible black smoke out of every third car or so and your lungs say no also. ...

- wear your seatbelt
- stay on the right
- don't talk on the phone
