I like when you hear about how farmers have a hard life. " Up before dawn, work into the night". All the while riding around on their top of the line tractor. Farming has always been on the "cutting edge" of technology.
Regardless of the equipment it’s a difficult life for them, also most farmers don’t buy crazy new, top of the line equipment unless they have to in order to save money, also you probably shouldn’t be saying something about them not having a hard life since they are the ones who grow the food that eat every day
Interesting but ultimately not sure if it's necessary I live near a vegetable growing area and I can tell you flat out that in the early days farmers used to rotate crops with livestock they haven't done that for over 20 years and the rich fertile soil has now become pretty crappy soil needs natural organic matter to remain he healthy there is too much pressure on farmers these days to make a profit
Need animals tracking chips and device to monitor their movements during grazing in pastures.. It would be more helpful for farmers looking after cattles.. During grazing in the forests.

Now really! What farmer sprays insecticide to scare away pests? I believe they spray to kill the pests, as the word insecticide means. BTW it almost always also kills any harmless or beneficial insects, too.
Yeah I thought "scare away pests" was a stupid statement lol.. some insecticides kill harmless insects like the pyrethroid chemical group, some are pest-specific like the eco-friendly flonicamid aphicides.
Maybe in america, but in europe there is heavy control in the chemical usage, so these chemicals are all heavily tested and most of the time less harmful on the good insects
Floating algue farms of 50% of agriculture, would be very efficient also giant arc structures with poulies for vertical farming would be the most efficient and land cheap
Vertical farming, has good and bad points, I think main problem is light, ultraviolet lighting provides less nutrients for plants, natural sunlight cheaper, better, colossal greenhouses now possible with wire mesh and tarp construction, tarp between panels of mesh,
That's not how UV works at all, in fact, quite the contrary. UV light is critical in the development, growth and health of plants. While sunlight is quite apparently more abundant, and by most avenues "free," UV light is an excellent alternative (as the video outlines), for use in environments that typically would be unable to grow fruit-producing crops (indoors).
What a cool playlist. I look forward to the day that technological, and Governmental Policy help create torture free sustainable food sources and we finally end World Hunger. :)

I'm not so sure about the Kray drone. Labor is expensive just like how the drone and it's maintenance is also expensive. If it will be put out in the market, local farmers may not afford it. I think it is not only important to solve agricultural problems but also poverty.
I would like to know who gave a video on more sustainable and efficient farming practices 6 thumbs down. Since they don't like farms maybe they don't want food. I like food and sustainable and efficient practices because I also like to eat. I love the earth too so I am all for any farming tech which increases sustainable methods.
Vertical farming has one weakness. Energy. It will cost a lot of electricity to replace sunlight. Also areoponics are not good with return on investment.
@@alitahir4147 i think we should skip solar panels and go to a solar boiler generator. Sure they dont look as nice as a panel but they are 60%efficient compared to a max efficiency of 29% for a couple years.
There are 3 direction to invest with positive return I see is carbon water and air electronic cell generating sugar, second one is mirror record of gravity, emf, light can be replay at quicken time to reduce crop time to ten time or hundred time shorten and same technique can turn entire already living forest to bear any kind of fruit or nearly same kind of common fruit on any no bearing fruit plants in forest, and the floating farming could prevent flooding or weather or polluted water by control humidity already fresh available
Countries like England that have such huge amounts of rain should be an oasis, these strategies are about exploiting whatever environmental conditions you have to their maximum potential.. Water based recreation and hydroelectric power generation should be a large percentage of our portfolio purely because todo so is using our assets to their maximum potential thus in doing so environmental extremes like drought will simply never occur now or in the future to come... Water is essential to all life on our planet therefore it's about time we learnt to value it as such...Modern farms have the area space to push such an approach beyond any historical expectation safeguarding our essential requirements well into the next century... that's what is called the best possible investment one could make.... farmers should be farming water before all else... FACT..
Plants free of water deficit events more efficiently absorb available plant nutrients enabling plants to achieve their maximum genetic potential. SWRT membranes installed below plant root systems retain water where it falls, providing continuous delivery of drought-free periods up to 3 times longer than intensely irrigated control sands without root zone water retention membranes (Guber et al, 2016).
And none of these monocultures aresustainable even still....learn about permaculture: diversity, soil biology, systems thinking, and above all ecological....
Plants are far better at growing in closed loop systems that we are led to believe which indicates that we are wasting water purely because no one has invented a better idea yet,,, we may discovery even hydroponics is inefficient and wasteful at some point in history....
