    IRT Livonia Ave Line: Manhattan and New Lots Avenue bound R62 (3) Trains and R142 and R142A (4) Trains above Livonia Avenue. During the PM Rush Hour, some (4) Trains terminate @ New Lots Avenue

    13:51 Just a good view of 2 train models from different divisions but with the exact same sound (R143 and R142A)

      I thought IRT workers couldn’t work on BMT or IND lines because the tech was “completely different”.
      Vice versa

      @@onlyinnewyork7103 IRT was just getting rid of the r33's r62's were just coming in. Redbirds were also rebuilt. The L line had R16"s, R27's. In 1988 they got rebuilt R27's.

      They are showing a bit of age now.. howling motors and dead ones, loud wheel bearings, dirt and grime all over, the trucks are rusted. The propulsion is decalibrated and screeching on some cars, 8213 and 8220 namely. If you take a look at the new R211 and then the R143, you'll see what I mean pretty clearly.

    You have to put in a request to switch divisions. When they have a pick as long as you have one year on the job you can pick into the A or B division. You will go back to school car, break in on every line then work your picked job.😉😉😉

      Every block along Livonia Avenue from Van Sinderen Avenue to Sheffield Avenue has new buildings. I remember there being nothing there but grass.

    they building elevators that will take u to a passage they building up to transfer to the 3 train at junius with out having to pay another fare! so say good by to that little passage bridge on livonia & junius! they gonna knock it down completley

    I'm curious about something and I was wondering if you or anybody else in the comments would know, but seeing as so many sections are elevated and really old, what's their lifespan? Will they have to be replaced in the future or can proper maintenance keep it up for as long as it needs?? Just curious about that since this one time on the 2,5 stop at gun hill and I felt the entire structure shaking and rocking as the train stopped lol.
