It's funny how I'm so used to listening to songs in Japanese and being able to enjoy the overall sound the vocals add to the instruments that even though this is technically in English my brain is still just ignoring the actual meaning of the words or even where one word ends and the next begins to just hear the overall combination of sounds
Good music transcends all, becomes about emotion and feeling. I don't need to understand Japanese to know this song is good. Makes me want to try to sing along or dance. Makes me want to move.

Kämpfer was a true cringefest(not only because the anime was rather meh) and when I heard and read the lyrics of Blumenkranz, one of the Soundtracks from Kill la Kill...yeah. The "Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger" is pretty okay though.
Actually, once you get the proper lyrics for a japanese song it isnt to hard to sing, i sing to Yasushi ishii's song Feel it, all the time (i know the lyrics pretty well)

The only similitaries with Aot derive from the fact that the studio behind the production is the same for both the series, even the ost is very similar.
Sawano has a style, but his music still sounds really unique when you look at different shows, games, his own works etc so it makes more sense learning it's the same studio as AoT now; they probably make the same atmospheres in their anime so want the same kind of music
Always give something a second chance. Some anime can sometimes go down hill but this wasn’t anything that bad. For al we know it could have been worse but their studio can recover from this if they give us a good story with good teachings.
English songs worked well with attack on titan because they have a more European background... can't say the same with a more Japanese series tho... still cool nonetheless
@@ia285 they mean that AOT was set in a place where people multiple ethnicities all lived together so the english and german lyrics worked really well. In another anime like KOTIF that is based in a very Japan-like culture, the german lyrics might not fit as well.
