Good choice. Tho I never had any issues with v-mounts and at lease here in europe i barely find anything powered by gold mount. And ive never been on a production where anything else then lights was powered by gold mount batteries. But i can still understand the choice and would like if more things would be used with gold mounts here as well
what is the best gold mount battery plate for these? i cant find anything with dual d-tap ports and a rod clamp. should i get a cheese plate, battery plate and a rod clamp seperate? (first time rigging camera battery)
Check out stuff from www.woodencamera.com They have a variety of gold mount plates for cameras. Also if you can't find a dual tap plate then you can always get a p-tap/d-tap splitter instead.
So I just got one of these second hand charged it up left it on the table and the screen doesn't go off or I don't know how to turn it off. Is this normal as if so it's really stupid as I left it for a few days now and the battery is draining slowly powering the screen?
Keep it up👍👍👍

Really? That interesting. The time that I have worked in Europe we brought out own gear including batteries so it wasn't something I noticed.
Thanks for the video. Did the case come with the kit? The Instagram photo.
It did not. I had the custom foam made for a Pelican iM2600 case.
