Especially for this episode, where they didn't want useless filler to pad the run time, every second needed to be reviewed to see if it was worth it or not. We got the point that Geordy and Picard are still friendly with each other, now to the plot. If TNG was made for streaming, it might had stayed.
That's how I feel watching a lot of these, especially all the Enterprise outtakes where by design those characters are the most human and relatable. Like, just leave those moments in!!!
Can we all agree that's the best series finale? Period. It's always hard to wrap up a series, but it both ended the series and opened the possibilities of what may come. The adventure continues, while putting a ribbon on the series.

But in this outtake, Stewart forgot his next line after "I don't think I could get used to that" and said "Time has used you well." So Burton laughed and went with "Used me a little too well," and then they cut.
Now I know there’s constantly going to be the usual “overstating how good something we like is” But yes it was a solid ending. I’m sure glad Picard ended his career here and didn’t get into any weird other stuff involving time travel and warp rifts😉
Guessing Geordi went to a rejuvenation clinic and got a whole natural overhaul! They'd'a took out some wrinkles, did a hair repair, change of blood; added a good 30 or 40 years to his life! They also replaced his spleen and colon, I'm guessing. Whaddaya think?

One of the best series finales of any show on television. Beyond Star Trek, beyond sci-fi, but of all television.
