I’m not no scientist, but 0 dimension is impossible. If 1 dimension is a simple line, then that would mean that every single object/substance in existence is already in 1 dimension before factoring the rest of the shape of the object. Basically, every shape already has a given length which means it has 1 dimension already. If an object doesn’t have a length, size, height, depth, etc… then it physically doesn’t exist.

You kind of got it wrong? A tesseract is a representation of a cube including the 4th spatial dimension, also known as a hyper cube. Time has nothing to do with a tesseract. Time could be seen as a dimension though, you can think of it as frames of a video laid out in a line, with the line being the “dimension” of time, and the current frame being the present.
@@lololghi7909I am a bit late but yeah that’s why I specified that tesseracts are with spatial dimensions, I was just using the time “dimension” as a sort of visual analogue.
time is the first temporal dimension (we have a time-LINE not a time-TESSERACT) while 4d is just the fourth spacial dimension. We are not outside of time if you look at it from a 2d perspective.
@@TheInterestingInformer You can think of it something like this: 1Temporal D = timeline, and since 2D = ∞1D stacked upon each other, 2TD = Multiverse. And 3TD = Hyperverse (Hosts ∞ Multiverses) and so on.
@@ninomarcosison8039 Yes, but no. Time is 4th dimension, but tesseract didn't illustrate that. Tesseract is use to demonstraite 4th dimension geomethry in 2 dimension space.
@@ninomarcosison8039 While time is technically the “fourth” dimension from our viewpoint, it is a temporal dimension, which can be though of as a different “class” of dimension from spatial dimensions (the first 3 we are familiar with). However , the 4th spatial dimension is much different than time, instead being a dimension of physical space rather than time. It is the 5th dimension, per se, but it is only the fourth spatial dimension. A tesseract is the equivalent of a cube in the 4th spatial/5th dimension, and has as much to do with time as a square or cube does. (keep in mind, as we are 3 dimensional beings and can’t visually comprehend the fourth dimension, the “tesseract” shown in the video is a 3 dimensional shadow of a tesseract)
Use the jail cell method: 2D being see 1D beings in a jail cell, and they could say ‘Just go around it!’ because they do not see it the way 1D beings see it. Same with 5D beings. Also use the XYZ method. Line is ‘X’ A 2D shape is ‘X’ and ‘Y’ 3D is ‘X’ ‘Y’ and ‘Z’ 4D is ‘X’ ‘Y’ ‘Z’ and ‘A’ and so on.
4D is not time. The animation of a tesseract is rotating the tesseract, viewing it from different angles. If a 4D object passed through our 3D plane, we would see a 3D slice of the object. If we could see in 4D, we would be able to see inside of an object, not like x-ray vision, but like how we see squares on paper. That is wild.
Right on! My understanding of a tesseract is the presentation of a cube that you see at every angle at once. Thus, it is the max representation of a 4d-perspective of a 3d-cube within a 3d-environment. It is lacking in that, as you said, it is still missing the representation of the 4th dimension.
4D isn’t time, but it’s how we measure our time. Like potential 2nd dimensional beings may measure their time in the third dimension. To fourth dimensional beings, the fifth dimension is time.
@@DuoAudio.Polyglot Exactly. That's why humans have difficulty visualizing it, because it can't exist in 3D. Movement is the most accurate way of representing it in our world, probably.

A better way to describe it is to say: if your trying to trap an entity from each dimension you would put a 2d entity in a square, a 3d entity in a cube, a 4d entity in a container that has been around before reality existed and put a 5d entity in a container that existed outside of everything
Just like the 1st 2nd and 3rd dimensions they all add a dimensional plane for every single dimension after the last, so why would people assume that the fourth dimension is time, it’s been proven over and over that the fourth dimension isn’t time but, big surprise another dimensional plane.
You forgot to add that it is all extremely theoretical and we don't actually know that the fourth dimention exists, or if it is what we presume it is, let alone dimentions above. Our mind also can't comprehend any dimension other that the third one, because that's the one we live in. All of the other "examples" are made in third dimention and aren't actually in any other dimention.
Yes… but what he said in the video is barely theoretical and very elementary. He has presented a position that is easily dismissed in the understanding of the 4D (and by many would be completely wrong).
For anyone interested, he explained Kaluza Klein theory in layman's terms. It was a unification of gravity and electromagnetism, which worked only in 5 dimensions. But it's not "THE" 5th dimension.

Yea, don't listen to this, what he says is correct, but he is effectively mashing 3 different theories into one. Each theory clashes with each other and NEED to be represented separately
Time is separate from spacial dimensions 3D is 3D because it has 3 dimensions. Length, width, height. And can rotate on 3 different axis, X, Y, and Z The 4th dimension isn’t time. A 4D object would have 4 spacial dimensions in the same way 3D has 3. And it would be bound by the same timeline that 3D is bound to. Except able to see it all at once and traverse back and forth. 4D would be able to pass through itself. Like collapse inward and come out the other side. 5D would have yet another dimension of space and another axis. That extra dimension would likely make the object inter dimensional. Meaning it could not just pass through itself but through other dimensions as well. But 5D would have 2 simultaneous dimensions of time at once. If you could put time into a shape, one would be a line (similar to how we experience time) and the other would be round (smoke DMT and you’ll see what that means)
@@russgrimes5531 Agreed. We already live in 4 dimensions, since our plane of existence is typically referred to as 3n+1 dimensions: 3 spatial and 1 temporal. If we had 3n+2, or 3 spacial and 2 temporal dimensions, then we’d be able to move freely back and forth time. If we had 4n+1 dimensions, we could move in a new direction that is simply perpendicular to length, width, and height. As for now, we are unfortunately confined to a 1D timeline that is _always_ moving forward. At least 3 spacial dimensions give us plenty of freedom. Ever wonder if there could be other types of dimensions that aren’t just spacial or temporal, but in our universe they’re just 0D?
A line and circle are both 2d objects, the actual 0 dimension is the colision of corners of 4 squares, and the 1, the colision of 2 sides of two squares
0D and 1D arnt possible, 0D is impossible bc everything has at least 2 dimensions and 1 d isnt possible because even if you draw a straight line lengthly, it still has a very tiny amount of width, so even if it did infinitly no width (-Inf Width) it would still be infinitly small, but it would have width.

“Yo bro like my 2nd dimension”
“That’s a square”
You kind of got it wrong? A tesseract is a representation of a cube including the 4th spatial dimension, also known as a hyper cube. Time has nothing to do with a tesseract.
Time could be seen as a dimension though, you can think of it as frames of a video laid out in a line, with the line being the “dimension” of time, and the current frame being the present.
Time is the 4th dimension in a temporal sense. It isn’t the 4th spacial dimension
@@lololghi7909I am a bit late but yeah that’s why I specified that tesseracts are with spatial dimensions, I was just using the time “dimension” as a sort of visual analogue.
It has always annoyed me how everyone calls the fourth dimension time
@@beuzyabsMe too, I also hate it
I genuinely disagree
time is the first temporal dimension (we have a time-LINE not a time-TESSERACT) while 4d is just the fourth spacial dimension. We are not outside of time if you look at it from a 2d perspective.
Spacetime is not 4d but 3d plus 1d time, and after all a theoretical model that makes it possible to visualize relativity.
How many temporal dimensions can there be? And what would it mean for there to be a second temporal dimension? Parallel universe?
@@FootLettuce 3D+1D makes 4D, so Space-time being 4D isn't wrong. It just isn't a 4D spatial dimension.
@@TheInterestingInformer You can think of it something like this: 1Temporal D = timeline, and since 2D = ∞1D stacked upon each other, 2TD = Multiverse. And 3TD = Hyperverse (Hosts ∞ Multiverses) and so on.
@@extrastudios404 that’s weird, thanks. Can there be four TD?
Bro used a tesseract and called the 4th dimension time 💀
According of Einstein's theory of relativity the 4th dimension is actually time
It looks like a tesseract and yes the 4th dimension is the space and time dimension. Terrible comment
@@ninomarcosison8039 Yes, but no. Time is 4th dimension, but tesseract didn't illustrate that. Tesseract is use to demonstraite 4th dimension geomethry in 2 dimension space.
And what do you know?
Use the jail cell method:
2D being see 1D beings in a jail cell, and they could say ‘Just go around it!’ because they do not see it the way 1D beings see it.
Same with 5D beings.
Also use the XYZ method.
Line is ‘X’
A 2D shape is ‘X’ and ‘Y’
3D is ‘X’ ‘Y’ and ‘Z’
4D is ‘X’ ‘Y’ ‘Z’ and ‘A’
and so on.
My brain is smoking right now

I don’t think my 1D brain can handle this😅
Just like the 1st 2nd and 3rd dimensions they all add a dimensional plane for every single dimension after the last, so why would people assume that the fourth dimension is time, it’s been proven over and over that the fourth dimension isn’t time but, big surprise another dimensional plane.

Time is separate from spacial dimensions
3D is 3D because it has 3 dimensions. Length, width, height. And can rotate on 3 different axis, X, Y, and Z
The 4th dimension isn’t time.

0D and 1D arnt possible, 0D is impossible bc everything has at least 2 dimensions and 1 d isnt possible because even if you draw a straight line lengthly, it still has a very tiny amount of width, so even if it did infinitly no width (-Inf Width) it would still be infinitly small, but it would have width.
