I cut my self trying to do this. Sliced all the way through my skin and through my tendon and I wasn’t able to move my thumb now I’m in recovery lol 😂. Ended up getting off the road bed and it works great thanks for the video!
You should get the atlas wiring guide from a hobby shop or order one. The guide is 100% Dc friendly. It explains alot about the dc layout. I got it for when I ran Dc locos and it was worth it. Most of the info also applies to dcc if ever switch.
It is perfectly safe to file the middle stub. (If its plugged in, if the two metal pieces touch, it will cause a short. This is nothing to worry about as long as you let it say like that IF there’s a train on the track.)

Wow what did you do this look like you were making a mountain out of a molehill there's also something called a butter knife easypz lemon whatever the last part is
Oh yeah. It’ll work. Lol. But you’ll have to be very careful, since that the very thin wires will easily pull off if you accidentally tug it. Even gently tugging it is enough to make it come off. You will have to snip that thing off of the Bachmann wire at the end in order for it to go in, but yeah.
@@skylitejunction5589 oooh Also would a Bachmann controller wire would be successfully be swapped with a hornby one for it’s track? Y’know making it compatible with hornby’s track terminal
@@BeegChonkBehr Sure, it’s 100% possible. I haven’t don’t it yet, but all you gotta do is snip the Bachmann terminal plug out, do the same on Hornby’s terminal plug. Then solder the Hornby terminal plug onto the Bachmann wire, and there you go, job done. Lol.
Flip the extinguisher over and hit the bottom with a rubber mallet once a year otherwise the powder in it will get compacted and it wont work. Just an fyi.
Slipcy You can, but if you’re looking for one that’s from the 90’s or before that, before the roadbed was invented, I’m not sure if I would recommend it for its age. You can also get them at a hobby store for I’d say $12 bucks? There are other manufacturers that makes terminal tracks, too. There’s Atlas, Hornby, and some others I don’t know. But you’ll find one. :)
Austin Dean Noice! I hope that’ll work through my iPhone. Lol. Cause that’s what I use to film, and upload videos. Cause I have a laptop that’s kinda already outta date. I use to upload my old videos from there, until it suddenly will not let me anymore, cause its crap. Now I can’t go to RUclips on my laptop. I need a new computer. Waaaaa! 😖
Flat Train Well I got this way before I even decided to do that, and I didn’t want my track to be on a roadbed anymore, and I didn’t have the money at the time to buy new track, so that’s what I did.

Ah, that really sucks that happened to you, but at least you got it off the roadbed. Do be more careful next time. 😂
@@skylitejunction5589 hahahaha definitely will be more careful next time😂

This is helpful. Remember, there is no electricity if it isn't plugged in.
Thanks, and that’s so true.

Austin Dean Thanks for the info there. I did file it down a bit, but not much. Thx. ;D
I do agree with the electrical tape idea
Austin Dean oh yes. I’m glad I thought of electrical tape when I did this. My name’s Austin too btw. So now there’s two Austin’s. ;D

Outer course? Never heard of that. Lmao.

Yup, that’s me.
@@skylitejunction5589 why should you do that
@@pauwanstrainworld6885 I didn’t have the money at the time.
Can remove the switches roadbed?
I don’t know if you can do that. You can try.
You can run 2 trains on 2 lines with 2 controllers?
Yes, but if you’re gonna connect them together, you’ll have ti get isolating joiners that connects the two mainlines together.
I’ve already got plastic insulating rail joiners
And I’ve got ez track

Can’t a bachmann ez command control both of them?
Yeah, they can.
