I don’t think Sunstone is actually talking to the audience, or even acknowledging that there is an audience. I believe that what she is doing is merely pretending they exist. Like you said, Steven’s love for TV might play into this but not including Garnet’s future vision. I don’t mean to be rude, or disprove any theories, I just want to share my views.

Yes because no matter what the gems inside the end product fusion is what matters. In the end, Steven, Amethyst, Pearl, and Garnet will still be fused, thus making Obsidian

It would be so cool if sunstone had a "burnt out" version, her hair has a puffy look like a combo of garnet and Steven's and her skin is dark red, and you can actually see her thicc lips
But the "burnt out" look only happens if they're exhausted to the point they could just fall apart, or if someone dumped a bucket of water on their head (more than likely courtesy of Amethyst and Lapis)

That's hitting a really confusing spot. They would technically be siblings via Pearl, but at the same time mother and son through Rose and Steven.
I love Rainbow 2.0 so much, especially for being the first one to be so masc. But I honestly can't get over Opal. She is just so beautiful and I guess the fact that she was first really made her stick with me. I think I have a weakness for big hair, because the original Rainbow Quarts is pretty high on my list too.

Of the 4 newest fusions I know about, my list of favorite to least has to be:
1. Rainbow 2.0
2. Steg
3. Sunstone
4. Obsidian
I just find obsidian kinda unaplaulibg because she's exactly what I expected her to be. A giant black monster with large poofy hair, along with lava flows all throughout her body. Rainbow 2.0 though? 100% NOT what expected, but 10,000% BETTER than expected! I've got a weird thing for flamboyant characters in a show. The more flamboyant, the more potential it has to become an awesome character. Steg's song with Opal is what made me like him so much. Enough said. Sunstone, while honestly hilarious, is also pretty meh for design. An orange half buff/half not hothead. I think k all the fusions are amazing and I love each and every one, and while they all have flaws, some I just find worse than others.
i actually prefered Rainbow Quartz over Sunstone cuz i expected smth even better to be Garnet and Steven's fusion

Sunstone should be able to beat the diamonds, it's a combination of blue diamonds saffire, a ruby soldier, and pink diamond.
I personally liked Rainbow 2.0 more, I found Sunstone to be a tad bit too cheesy, not to say that I didn't like Sunstone at all, but between them and Rainbow 2.0, I kinda liked Rainbow more. I actually adore his British accent, I feel it fits his refined yet silly personality, maybe it's just me watching too much British TV but I tend to associate those two things combined together with British culture...
Also Obsidian, of course, is my number one favorite, because how can you not love that particular fusion, the sheer badassery of it all just blew my freaking MIND to itty bitty pieces. I love how Obsidian's theme music sounds like the final boss theme for a Final Fantasy game, I need that theme in my life now

I’ve seen a lot of people sharing their dislike for Sunstone, and I wanted to weigh in. I think their personality is pretty fun and quite entertaining, although the fourth wall breaks did make me cringe a bit. Their design seems really rushed, and it didn’t look like as much thought was put into it as the other fusions. It also seemed like sapphire wasn’t at all represented in Sunstone’s design, and I think it would have worked much better as a fusion of just Steven and Ruby. Overall, I think I like Sunstone, but there could have been a lot of improvement, especially in their design.

Obsidian can get to one Adam thin on the blade!!!!! It's impossible to force though, Aztec's were more advanced then we are in some forms

It makes sense that a fusion of Steven and Garnet who both love themselves and each other, would as positive as a Saturday morning cartoon special announcement character.
Plus Steven and Garnet can be very cautious, yet very clever and quick to act when they collaborate.
Together they act as a Saturday Morning Children's PSA character that loves life and says no to drugs.
@@felixrivera895 if Sunstone told someone to say no to drugs, they'd listen because they wanted to, or because (just being honest here) Sunstone could be TERRIFYING if she wanted to. She has access to Garnet's gauntlets and Steven's razor-edged shields, plus we don't know how much damage she could potentially do with those suction cups! She's 2/3 Garnet, so I'm sure she could EASILY pull off an intimidation act

If Lapis and Steven fused, I predict the fusion would be called Tanzanite. Not only is it a rough cut, but pretty gemstone that is purple (red+blue), it also can be used almost anywhere for anything jewelry related. But what about Oswald Cobblepot? We already saw the giant penny in Rose's secret cave so we know there's some Batman fans on the team. Combine that with the fact that Pearl's spear shoots lasers, and we have a Mary Poppins fusion that can ride their umbrella like a broom leaving a trail of rainbows, use the umbrella as a shield while shooting rapid fire lasers Penguin style
