If I had to guess, you seem like the rest of us. It took courage to post your first mishap. Do not be discouraged by the negative Nancy comments. It is a learning curve with these ‘Hi-Tech Hondas’. I had lunch in Delevan Wi. today with some other Goldwing riders. Beautiful day for a ride, with or without a cute puppy!

I am not an electrician, but i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once , so that serves me well :) In regards to hauling a dog on a road trip, its a big bike, so a big dog is in order. If you haul a Great Dane, i would watch that video ! Lol

Do yourself and others a favor. Ditch the ‘Wing and go back to a Harley or whatever you had before. You will be a lot safer on an HD.

So, I posted the text of the warning verbatim in your last video. You skipped reading here the second warning highlighted with a prominent border and preceded by the !WARNING label. So, the mistake is solely yours for not reading and understanding fully the Owners Manual that comes standard. Especially the SAFETY section. You still insist here that Honda should put in yet another warning light to save you from yourself. Maybe the government should pass a law MANDATING a breathalyzer in every vehicle, car and truck, and light up the dash and disable your ignition. They already wrote in text a warning to not operate the vehicle while under the influence. But that is not enough for you. You need an IDIOT light to go with the text warnings. It is called that name of light for a reason, that is due to the extremely limited information a simple illumination of a light provides.
Your video would likely go over much better to a critical audience (you open yourself up to by posting the video saying Honda engineering is flawed) if you merely admitted to your mistake and OWN it, instead of blaming Honda for a "design flaw".
The safety sticker that comes standard with every Rubbermaid bin to not store your children in them with the lid closed due to a suffocation hazard is apparently meant for you.
The vast majority of the population would not benefit from another warning light as we would not ride a motorcycle lacking mirrors or with mirrors folded inward. The dash is cluttered with enough visual noise as it is.
As for you being an electrician. I would not hire you. Not because you made a simple mistake (which will cost you dearly every time you look at your new bike), but because you are quick to assign blame to others for your own shortcomings.

I still like your comment. You put a lot of effort into typing that. I couldn't agree more, about me being an idiot, but I disagree with another warning like the kick stand, or the trunk or the side bags have warnings, but why not this serious design flaw, ok, honda covered their ass legally, but this is a very serious and easy accident waiting to happen, this lever literally locks up behind the mirror, if it didn't lock up, and just bumped it, ok, but to lock in place deserved my video..I'll look at your profile and videos you post now...give me a bit
