I like that 294 isn't contained properly, bored employees hooking up a world ending threat to the cafeteria because it's convenient to have around is pretty realistic. Dumb things like that make the foundation fun to read about
i have a little theory on why heavy is in the middle, see in the event of a breach all the nasties are in the middle. if they go to the left (light) then thats 1 extra zone gone to, then when they finish they go back to heavy (2 extra zones) and then entrance (3 extra zones). if they were where light was, it would only be 2 zones giving less time for foundation reinforcements to arrive, i mean they could go straight to entrance but knowing how bloodthirsty some of them are it would make more sense to go to light. also, if they started off at light, then as they make their way through the zones thats wayyyy more guarenteed death than if they were where heavy was, giving foundation personnel in entrance more time to get away. everyone in light is pretty much always going to die
I always figured that "easy to contain" and "not-dangerous" were very different things. Just because something can be locked away easily doesn't mean it's not incredibly dangerous if loosed. It's better to put the guys who break containment easily near the front so that they don't snowball other SCPs out of containment on their way out. It's better to have Shy Guy burst out of the facility alone than have him burst out and break out 173 and the plague doctor in the process, who can't really get out on their own.

Interesting question and i may have an answer. 096 may not be smart but one thing that has been consistent about 096 is it ALWAYS go after whoever looked at it no matter what you try and do to escape it's wraith. So i would imagine even if the doppelganger looks exactly like Wyatt 096 would go after the doppelganger because the doppelganger looked at 096 thus having seen it. They may look the same but the real Wyatt didn't look at 096, the fake Wyatt did however. Due to 096's anomalous properties it knows the exact location of whoever saw it's face regardless of distance, obstacles, and various other factors.
The anomalous part of 096 is keen and terrifying ability to know the exact second that someone views it’s face, even through photographs. The second you view a picture of its face, it knows, and begins it’s unstoppable journey toward you. Safe to say, it would go after the doppelgänger.
