The cyclops magnifies more because the dial is deeper. It's pretty obvious but nobody ever mentions this. Great comparison side by side. Thanks.👍

The real comparison is the movement. That's what you are paying for.
The rehaut is deeper on the NH34 which can look a little odd but a good movement.

Regarding the lume, what matters most for me is not how bright it is when it's first charged, but how long it lasts (and can be seen in total darkness).
The lume on the dial of the new (NH34) version lasts fairly long. It doesn't quickly disappear completely. The lume lingers for quite a while; but, it's more faint than with San Martins.
Wow, I will check it out. Like you said, it isn't the brightest first, but maybe lasts longer
I just did the very same comparison. Chinese PD1662 against NH34. The one equipped with he chinese movement had like yours a non-illuminated bezel. But unlike your 2 examples the blue on the dial was the very same. Also the crystal on the NH34 watch had an AR coating on the inside.

The NH34 one has a deep, very sloped rehaute
whereas the DG version has a visible flange supporting the crystal together with a near vertical rehaut. (like a Rolex)

The 4th hand on the Chinese GMT jumps when you push the crown in. This makes in very difficult to get aligned on the hours properly. Once I have it right, I don't want to touch it because it takes about 10 tries to get it right.
Haha, I'm familiar with this issue. Just put it 1-2min before the time you need. Then it will jump on the right spot!

The new version bezel insert has thinner font on the numbers, more like the original.

Also note, the blue color of the GMT hand and the word “GMT” on the dial is quite dark, making them disappear against the black dial. I wish they had gone a shade lighter as it would look much better and be more visible. Still, a lot of bang for the buck with the Seiko movement.
Japanese movement is better in long run. Problem with both bezels is they are supposed to be bidirectional.
I assume they both have solid steel case backs. I don't SCUBA dive any more, but 100M water resistance would not give me a lot of confidence snorkeling with this watch. With a screw-down crown, I wonder why it's not more.
Surely it's not designed for Scuba, but I've been snorkeling with PD-1664 for about 2 years now, the same screw-in crown and 100m, so far still good :)

I have had 2 of these with the Chinese Pearl movement. They both broke the first day I owned it. The hack feature broke in both of them the first time I used them. I will never purchase another Chinese movement again
I also had trouble after a few months. Pagani has 54 dollar price on Pearl movement but I am simply not interested. On the other hand a new version with NH34 is over 100 dollars and I am waiting for that price to go down to around 80

You never mentioned the benefit of the NH3 movement this was the title of the video. My new nh34 has thicker fonts on the bezel the other way around to yours I like the older bezel better, new bezel looks cheap, I wanted to see how the new movement performs.
NH34 is just more accurate and better quality (longevity) than Chinese GMT. You can only see how it performs in daily life. I could check the accuracy of it, but it's not really relevant. It will be different in every watch, depends on the person who assembled it in China :)

It won't fit. You will need custom movement spacer🥲

The new model with NH34 will be more expensive. + You can check in the description. They will write clearly if it's NH34

@Sotiris Binjaku You mean the store or the watch? If the store then Pagani Design official store on aliexpress. If the watch, then I would recommend you to pay a bit extra and get SteelDive instead. Their GMT model is definitely better 😊

Check the specs of both models. The price of 139 is too high right now. Many shops are changing their prices very often, so if you got it for 89, that's good

Why didn’t you mention the differences in the depth of the rehaut. It’s ridiculous in the seiko version. Pretty sure the water resistance is only 99m in the new version because the watch is so low already. Why not test the lume properly; time lapse in the dark?
I didn't notice any difference of the rehault that time. And.. Testing the lume like that is a great idea, but it's Pagani🥲😅😅 Can't expect much from their lume

I love Chinese products but the Pearl movement is bad. Not because of movement itself but because of lack of oil, sloppy assembly. Even if it arrives in good working order, after 6-12 months it will start acting on you
I read similar reviews. There are also some who wore this model for longer and it was OK. Anyway.. It's 50/60$ watch😅😅😅
Характеристики там одинаковые, другое дело как повезёт наверно. Зачем платить больше больше. если могут быть дороже. но хуже, или на оборот. Когда получу часы, расскажу. Часы на китайском механизме пока работают, вот пошёл четвёртый месяц, пока всё хорошо, а дальше покажет время.
Pagani Design seems to have a quality control problem with these GMT watches, including the PD-1762 (Rolex Explorer II homage watch). The GMT hand is sometimes not lined up, as you can see from the watch in this video. The GMT hand should line up perfectly on one of the dial indices when the minute hand is at 12 o'clock. I've tried contacting their support department but they are not very responsive. If I can't return my PD-1762 then I will have to live with it, or have a local watchmaker take the movement out of the case and reset the hands. Also the cyclops date window on the V2 watches with the NH34A movement is too large, to the point of making the date hard to see. The previous version cyclops window was just right. Other than those nits, the watch will probably outlast you, with regular servicing, especially since it is cheaper to replace these movements than service or repair them, so that's what they do. Actually at $100 it's cheaper to buy a new watch than to service an old one. But for a cheap GMT, this does the job and looks great too.
Tge quality control is very poor. But considering the prices, varieties, and quantity they produce, there will be lots of similar complains. Especially this model. When I make a mod with nh34 gmt, it's really tricky to make GMT hand aligned perfectly, and I doubt they do better job at their factory 😅 But again, for this price all the issues are not really relevant
