I despise Lord of the Flies 😂 my A levels in English Literature was on this book. We were also forced to watch the films (both 1990 version & 1963) and incorporate it a presentation on how films can be used to enchance Literature, to be fair though, the 1963 film is rated very highly, and not that hard to watch.
Oh I am so sorry😂 to be fair, I am just a good ol' pleb that had a good ol' time with the book so😂 but your case does sound pretty torturous i gotta admit, I've got Animal Farm on my A levels soo😂😂
No joke I asked a classmate to give me a quick run down of it RIGHT BEFORE it was my turn (I was really gunning for hedonism, no one can come between me and og material girl Dorian Gray), but when i saw that animal farm, I was really glad for my sparknotes briefing moments ago😂
@@enigmaticfeelingasmr Ah yes, Dorian Gray ❤️. I believe all readers, no matter what path you've taken in life, will always find something fascinating & exquisite in the seductive nature of Grays story. ☺️
👋👋 Enigmatic!... Just thought I'd stop by and bug you... ONCE AGAIN lol. I hope all is well on your end, wishing you happiness, healing, prosperity and peace! In case you're in a position where you need to be uplifted, i have a quote for you... (Shocker i know 😆) I just finished a book called "a lotus grows in the mud." I instantly thought of you when i read this part (idk why 😬) I wise women once said... "The lotus is the most beautiful flower, whose petals open one by one, but will only grow in the mud... In order for it to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud, the obstacles of life and its suffering. The mud speaks of the common ground that humans share, no matter what our stations in life. Whether we have it all or we have nothing, we are all faced with the same obstacles: sadness, loss, illness, dying and death. If we are to strive as human beings to gain more wisdom, more kindness, more empathy, more love and more compassion, we must have the intention to grow as a lotus and open each petal one by one." 🌸
Before i watch, I wonder what's going to be at the top of the list 🤔🤔... 💡... I'd be SHOCKED and would question my own integrity if it wasn't sirens and muses by Antonia angress! We shall see! 👀 Edit: i must say... I'm not suprised but yet, I'm suprised lol! I was not expecting four books at the top, but that's fine. You definetly seem very passionate about all four of them! Anywho, you had me cracking up when you brought up S&Ms... "In a way, don't you ever f***ing read this book because it was ment for me and me only... But on the other hand, read it!" 😂😂 hilarious... I have a quote for you (as im sure you've noticed i enjoy interesting/inspiring quotes) "I think it's easy when you're neglecting your own happiness to inadvertently neglect the happiness of the people you love. It's sort of like you think you're being selfless or self-sacrificial or something, but really you're just sowing misery everywhere you go." ~Antonia Angress
first of all, i got cockblocked by tierlist maker and could not make another tier therefore s&m had to be with dowry of blood because dowry doesnt belong anywhere else BUT SECOND OF ALL WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU JUST DROPPED AN ANTONIA ANGRESS QUOTE???? JUST LIKE THAT??? IN FRONT OF MY SALAD?????
@@enigmaticfeelingasmridk how it took me seven ddays to respond to you (sowwy) but here I am! It's been hectic on my end as of late because life is a soup and Im a folk... But yeah, i remember when you first told me about S&Ms months ago, So I researched the author, saw that quote somewhere and thought it was intriguing. I copied it and then completely forgot about it 😬, until you brought the book up again in this video. Soooo How'd you do on your final exam!? Peer review!? I hope everything went well!! 🤞🏻😊
I love your videos so much, and love your rambling about books
I'm happy at least somebody enjoys that abundance of book content I keep uploading😂🫶
