- 360° Flight deck view of an approach + landing in an American Eagle (Envoy) Embraer-175 on Runway 30 at the Miami International Airport. You'll be sitting up front in this fully interactive video with Captain Joe, First Officer Dean, and videographer Swayne. This was filmed following a trial run on the first-ever flight to Eleuthera, Bahamas in the E-175.

Did this guy have to get a bachelors degree to work the airline/ is that a flat out requirement for major airlines? Im about to start my training in 3 months
@@zachariahroberts2566 there is a HUGE shortage of pilots right now so it isn't required. that being said, it would be smart to do so anyway just in case something happens and you need a fallback job

A neat use of 360. It might be just me, but the autopilot's altitude call outs nearing landing seemed early and high.

About to start PPL and the comms are overwhelming to listen to. Should I just put it in the background and It will start to come naturally by the time you get anywhere near a right seat?
You will already learn it during your PPL training when you fly from a controlled airport.

Swayne, how are you? I'm a 16-year-old from Canada, and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile for me to pursue pilot training in the United States. I'm considering ATP as a potential school, so please let me know what you think. Thank you for your time and consideration, and Merry Christmas.
You'd be better off going with a smaller private school and completing your ratings there. Much cheaper and since airlines won't hire you until you're 23, the 8 month accelerated program isn't necessary imo. Plenty of time to get your rating and hours without breaking the bank too bad.

Is it just me or does the 360 view thing decrease the quality of video drastically on RUclips? I prefer just regular video with multiple angles if that’s the case.
