Those look great. For the lighter coat try doing bigger passes over the hold. Don’t start and stop spraying over the actual hold as this creates blotches and spatter.
Nice video and quite nice finish, have you ever considerd Just a oil soak finsing for a darker look? i tried that the other day and it turned out great
Light coat is my favourite, when spraying I would recommend to start spraying off the hold and doing a longer movement over the hold, it will help for a more even result (avoiding darker spots etc) Great video though ! Quick question, how long do wooden climbing holds last compared to other types?
They "polish" or "grease up" faster but if made right they can last a long time, years. There are a lot of variables.
@@climberdad but the advantage is that they can be resanded to bring back a desirable finish
