Nice video but if you don’t have spark ⚡️ but you have power at the connector the computer may not be pulsing due to the engine speed sensor or sensor gear bent teeth. Even if there is an rpm reading that doesn’t mean the computer is getting the correct signal. If it’s not getting correct signal you won’t get spark at coil. In my case I had no spark because the “sensor gear” was damaged. The sensor gear is located behind the fly wheel. If the teeth are bent on the sensor gear the engine speed sensor will not give the computer the correct signal. For me this was causing the no spark. Crank no spark condition. I was able to fix the bent teeth through the hole of the engine speed sensor. I believe the teeth were bent because the release bearing broken and was banging around in the bel housing. A piece of metal may have gotten in behind the flywheel where the sensor is. I’ve posted this on Identifix as well. I hope this helps as I couldn’t find anything to help me.
Please help me my car have hard starting and then die after 1 second. Replaced fuel pump, hpfp is good, replaced coils and plug. I have a 2012 cooper S coupe.
THANK YOU!! My passenger side was FLOODED.. dried everything out but still no start. I jumped the relay with a paper clip and got it running🤣 now time to replace JBE. Thank you again!! 💯
Andy that’s exactly what happened to my daughter Mini. It got wet on the passenger side due a sun roof leaking and now the car won’t start. A “mechanic” came today a said that I need I new engine. I told him that the car didn’t started since it got wet. How did you jumped the relay?
@@Boribori787 I used a paper clip to jump the relay to verify that the jbe was the problem.. it’ll start and run with the paper clip, at least to verify the problem
Help! My mini was starting fine before I replaced the water pump. I had the battery and ecm disconnected. I connected the battery back on and tried to start the car with the ecu disconnected(forgot) after connecting the ecm the mini won’t start. Any thoughts? Thanks
I get the crank, with no fire. But the scan shows all 4 cylinder misfires. No other codes. Already installed new timing chain, because it had over 120K on it. Considering chasing down coils or cam position sensors next. Great video, My Hanes manual doesn't cover any of these procedures.
Well. I did not have voltage at the green wire, nor at position 1 of DME. The fuse was fine. However I had power with the key in at pin 3 of the relay. No voltage could be measure at pins 1-2. So.. I added a ground wire and BOOOM big spark ????

What do you mean ground terminal 6 on a 5 terminal relay?
Where is terminal 6 on the relay numbers go up to 5

@@andymaz6700 great, I will try that tomorrow to see if the car finally start. Thanks
OMG same thing happened to me too! Do you mind sending me a link to the part?

Did he ground the black lead on the negative post of the car battery?
Thank you , I want a European cars program for wiring diagram please help me ❤bro
Hi! What I have to check if I don't have 12v on the 15A Fuse(10)?? Please help me
I thiink the guy said that it means your junction box is broken becasue that is energized by the junction box
Great video. Which engine is this, the N14 or the N18?

Hanes are garbage. Buy the Factory Manual, it covers everything!
Head took a dump. Valve seat looks like something took a bite out of it. Zero compression on cylinder #4
Excellent video! Thanks a lot !
After replacing the CKP sensor, my car started but after that it wouldn't start again.
Short and clear nice very nice vedio
Glad you liked it!
Be nice if you explained and showed folks exactly where pin 6 was you grounded
EXCELENTE EXPLICACION, MUCHAS GRACIAS

The speaker says terminal 6 of the K6326 relay but never showed where that was it looks as if should be the circuit controlled by the relay??
what in the hell is a jbe??
That's what l'm wondering
junction box electronics
it's the fusebox in the passenger side (N America) footwell
Junction box electronics
My problem oil traveled through wire to ecu and in to ecu. Ecu got cooked ☠️
How did oil get to the ECU?
We’ve seen that on VW😂
thank you very good
I have power at the coil
Still doesn’t think start
relay terminal 6 does not exist! the relay k6326 has only 5 pins! even the schematic is wrong, or probavly refers to another car!
