Suenan grandiosos, deberían escuchar sus últimos 2 discos con Todd Latorre, son geniales. Siempre me gustó Queensryche con Tate, pero sus últimos discos fueron muy malos. Con éste vocalista el grupo está más vivo que nunca. Bravo Queensryche.

Since TLT does a better impersonation of Geoff Tate than Geoff Tate himself, that's a good thing. Not to mention they wouldn't be playing at all if Tate were still there.

@@jeffwyatt4193 I'll take that bet and whatever you decide to put behind it. Let's see, the Queensryche EP came out in 1982 and Tate was removed from the band in 2012. I can assure you, I was not in diapers when I turned 40, nor when I turned 10. Saw them at Long Beach Arena in 1991, so yeah, you lose that bet. You win for having the most baseless, retarded comment I've read in a while though.

Geoff was better
Geoff Tate did sound better that night when he physically assaulted 2 of the members and spat on them all night during the show ..he did sound better when he brought in outside writers for the last 10 years he was in the band and didn’t let the members contribute to the music from their own band
he did sound better when he tried to turn the band into some sort of theatrical cabaret

Replacing the lead singer who actually created this unique vocal style is a big deal. Acting like Geoff Tate wasn’t one of the keys to Queensryche is fn nuts

This band asked him to front the band. If all ye kids in the basement don’t like it, great. But to come here and bash a professional, working musician - it’s petty and disrespectful. He’s just going to work and entertaining. 🤦♂️

Sorry, it's not Queensryche unless Geoff Tate is the lead singer. Whoever this guy is singing leads, he doesn't have Tate's inflections or chops. He also can't hit the high notes that Geoff does with no problem. Instrumentally, it's a fair version. At least the new singer in Journey (?Pena) sounds more like Steve Perry. I was fortunate enough to see Queensryche with Geoff Tate at leads. That was a f***ing concert!!🎤🎶
Fair points on the vocals. Jackson on bass sounds like he did when Epire came out. The drums are a bit heavy for me. The lead guitar guy puts his own spin on Chris D's masterpiece. Not awful, but not the Geoff Tate!
@@bigcatkim - When did Scott Rockenhold (the drummer) leave Queensryche? I know that Chris left around 2014 (I may be mistaken). I'd love to hear his reasoning. Props to Geoff for sticking it out till they booted him. I can't sing worth a hill of beans myself, but I do recognize talent when I hear it.
I saw another comment saying that Geoff still blew their doors off at 63!! When I saw Queensryche (w/Tate), Geoff was around 50. I'm so glad that he's still doing what he obviously loves!!❤

@@bigcatkim This was so great!! I love that Geoff is still doing his thing, regardless of the breakup. I do wish that the original lineup of Queensryche could set aside their differences (I'm sure there are many) & perform together again. My favorite album of theirs is Rage For Order, followed closely by Empire. What are they going to do when Queensryche gets tapped for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? It's not going to be because of Todd LaTorre's singing...
