@@Carl-b1q No it doesn't. This is her first 100m run right? And is the 100m a core run of hers as a pro? Probably not, they want to see where she is at.

I think Abby is really putting things in place for a superb season. Her top speed is next level. I think with the benefit of more races and a run of warm weather training she'll run mid 10.9s. Her top speed is sheer turnover, rather than length. So, I'm not sure she can get a much better start without it detracting from her end. The 200m and the relays are another matter.
@@KiingPoop The point was that she probably doesn't have a bright future as a 100m or 400m runner, but her 200m should be pretty solid. She may be fast enough to be on a relay team, but I don't see her ever winning a championship in a 100m or 400m. However, she definitely has the potential to be a world and Olympic champion in the 200m.
Looking at the final leg baton recipients, they both were wearing very similar black gear & both women had their hair up in a bun-like fashion...AND Steiner was arriving first (except for Miller-Uibo on the outside), so her teammate normally would be on the inside. It wasn't Steiner's fault; it was a mistake waiting to happen.
Not correct…it is her fault. Simply put, while the person in the front usually goes towards the inside lane, it cannot always happen this way due to lane interference. Abby was in lane two while Holmes was in lane one, which means her receiver 100% would’ve gone into the same lane as she. This was a critical error by Abby for so many reasons, but we can let it go…
1:34 - The fact that Abby ran down Team USA’s usual anchor leg for the 4x400 is legit newsworthy. 3:44 - The complete confusion on the hand off shows that pro races need some common uniforms to delineate who’s on what team. Glad to see that Abby's bone spur operation was a success and that she is able to finish so strong this early in the season!
