Dude your channel is criminally underrated, obviously you're from N America like me but I'd never expect some of the best hockey instruction on RUclips to come from Australia, excellent work!!!

Hey man, great vid. Since you skate with marsblade chassis, can I ask do you think you'd keep em on for league play, or do you think they'd be too heavy or not as stable compared to a straight or hi lo setup?

Couldn't give an honest helpful answer since I haven't skate in a hi-lo set up in ages. The idea behind hi-lo is very similar to that of the marsblades, however , with the marsblades you get more constant contact with the ground for more glide. On top of that I've only had the training chasis. If you get the roller one, it could be stronger and lighter for game play.

May I please know the brand and type of street hockey puck you are using in the video.
    Thank you in advance.

Green biscuit! Swear by these pucks. Best product to use off the ice for skills.

Good skating and camera work. The camera operator must have gotten very dizzy.

I've been skating on ice since last October (it's now June) and I fall all the time. I just bought a pair of inline skates. As a new skater I don't have the guts to skate outside without a helmet. What protective gear do you recommend if any?

Knee pads, elbow pads, and a helmet are 🔑. Gloves are a good addition if you have some.
