    Watching this the day after Pickett goes 15-28 for 106 yards is particularly extra….something.

    Once big Ben retired Mike Tomlin got exposed for the lack of coach that he really is this is the STEELERS NATION that I remember

      Not really if anything the fact he kept the same record of no losing season and made the playoffs this year with this sorry offense is a testament to good coaching

    The Steelers did a piss poor job of preparing for post Big Ben...

      No they didn’t, I’m so tired of hearing this crap. Most teams regress when you lose a future Hall of Famer at QB. The fact that the Steelers have been .500 plus both years since is sensational. The only mistake Pittsburgh made was reaching for Kenny (which came post Big Ben anyways). The Steelers did a great job of continuing to look for talent to try and compete for a Super Bowl (which their window was absolutely still open until 2021) there’s no reason to draft for the future when you’re within your Super Bowl window, look at Green Bay. You piss off your franchise player and drive a wedge between him and your city, and you fail to put adequate talent around him and it costs you down the stretch

      Exactly also big Ben probably should have retired earlier but held on so we lost out on drafts like Burrow and Lamar.

      @@rickyayy you’re an absolute moron if you believe that. When should Ben have retired? In 2018 Ben led the league In yards so you wouldn’t retire at that point. 2019 Ben played 2 games before getting hurt, so why retire if you’re still feeling like you can play at an elite level. Also even if he had retired the only Qb on the board when Pittsburgh picked was Jalen Hurts (which there’s no guarantee Pittsburgh would’ve taken him) and after that it was Jacob Eason.
      Had Ben retired after 2020 (when he led the Steelers to a franchise best start and had a 3-1 Td to INT ratio so there’s no reason he should’ve) the next qb available when Pittsburgh picked was Kyle Trask.
      Then Ben retired and we reached for Kenny. How would Ben retiring earlier have helped this situation?!?!?

    • @bigben7coverage370
      @bigben7coverage370  4 месяца назад

      Lamar was already in the league in 2018 so Pittsburgh was never in contention for him and Burrows year Pittsburgh didn’t have a first. Ben is not the reason Pittsburghs qb situation is what it is
