i will never forget the pass to santonio holmes in triple coverage for the game winner. that super bowl was 2009 and i remember it like it was yesterday. one of tue best QBS to ever set foot on a football field
I feel like so many people have really taken Big Ben’s place in the league for granted with his longevity and how he has almost always had the Steelers competing at a top-tier level. Really been overshadowed by Tom Brady being arguably the best QB of all time simultaneous with Ben low-key having one the most impressive careers as well.
I'm from pittsburgh and I remember the tackle Ben made vs Indy literally gave some guy a heart attack as he watched it unfold in a bar on the southside, it was the Bettis fumble that started it all
Who’s here after his lose to Cleveland? He had a hell of a game just too many INTs. But 500+ yards and 4 TDs is enough to win a game. Defense was also banged up
Great video, full of memories. I have been blessed to watch this man lead the Steelers. He's doing his best right now, but Father Time is undefeated. He has won against Big Ben and the offensive line.
@@ArobismeLet me try to offer an explanation for this person since they never did. Talented does not mean best, you can be talented but not have that manifest as much as someone with less talent. Talent, imo, is basically natural ability vs learned ability. He is saying, I think anyway, Ben was the most naturally gifted qb at the time. I think there is a legit argument for that. He had a very strong arm, could thread the needle, scramble, throw defenders off of him, run, and do it all while playing at easily over 250 pounds. Most great qbs can only do one or two of those things very well but in his prime Ben had the ability to do it all well. You could argue he wasn't the best at some of them and I'd agree, but he was always top 5 or so at every one of those things til he got too old. And he of course had a good mental game, one of the more naturally clutch players I ever saw, he nearly always played lights out when it was desperation time.
What a ride! Loved the 2004 draft pick and never looked back! First ballot HOFer all day long and a top ten quarterback all time! My wife and I were at Heinz Field Monday January 3rd for Ben’s final home game and it was absolutely electric!!! Legend!!! 🎉👍🏼🏈 It was a privilege to watch his career!
I’ve been a Steelers fan since I was kid. I was around 12 and had a copy of madden 98 for sega genesis and that was my team and has been through my life. I’ve enjoyed watching bens career. GO STEELERS!
I will always be thankful for 18 years of Big Ben! He may not be the same to watch but he still has all his grit. Best 18 years of 36 years of being a born and bred Steelers fan. Met Ben more times than I can count, keep it humble as always Ben!
Ben Roethlisberger has the most underrated, underappreciated career in QB history. READ these stats: 5th all time in wins 5th all time in passing yards 5th all time in completions 3rd all time in game winning drives 3rd all time in 4th quarter comebacks 1st all time in 500+ yard games 1st all time in perfect passer rating games 13 playoff wins, 5 conference championship games, 3 Super Bowls, 2 rings The Steelers have had ZERO losing seasons since drafting him 18 years ago. Without question, that body of work COMFORTABLY has an argument for Ben being a Top 10 quarterback of all time. And yet, it's like pulling teeth to get the media to consider him for even Top 15 or Top 20. THEE ONLY stats Ben is low in, are "human voting stats" (MVP's, All Pros, etc). Ben battled "opinion polls" like those awards his whole career. The media hated him, the refs allowed opponents to tee off on him more than other QB's without flags, he accomplished Top-5 all time major category throwing stats in an ALL OUTDOOR COLD-WEATHER division, filled with snowy, windy, muddy weather harder to put up numbers in. He did it through so many surgeries, concussions, and broken bones that we've all lost count and yet somehow managed to play to nearly 40 years old. He did it from a small mid-major school to 15-1 in the NFL AS A ROOKIE! He's a historically great winner, too. His 5th all time in wins isn't like other stats because the number of games has remained relatively stable over the generations, between 14 and 17 since 1972. So in the truest sense, Ben was supremely talented at doing the single most important role as quarterback, which is find a way to win. I hope the Hall Of Fame CORRECTS Ben's career-long underappreciation by voting him in on the FIRST BALLOT.

I don't understand how football analysts and experts have the audacity to put QB's like Rivers, Rodgers, Brees ahead of Big Ben.. I don't know if these are the greatest hits or not. I also don't know if they are a comprehensive collection of "career highlights." Perhaps the creator was just leaving it open-ended and not saying these were ALL the highlights, because Ben has so many! What really liked about the video is these were edited to allow the story of each game to flow. It's almost a collection of Ben's most entertaining games, which explains why so many clips were against the Ravens. 😆 I also loved seeing the past receivers and running backs who when they left Ben, suddenly didn't look as great. ;)
Ben should have been SB MVP of 43. One of the 10 greatest throws in NFL history. People forget how mobile he was in the pocket when he was young. Now we have a young QB in Rudolph, who in the pocket is about as stiff as Franco Harris' statue at the Pittsburgh Airport.

dope video bro, idk how this doesn't have more views!
Thanks man! Appreciate it
Berges Productions it’s got more views now 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Savage Carlos spoke it into existence lol. Congrats man
i was just a kid when big ben and troy polamalu were on this team, i was too young to recognise their greatness but now i’m older and understand the game i’ll forever be grateful to this team for getting me into football. with troy now in the hof ben should be a no brainer. i’ll always remember screaming “BIG BEN” at the tv lol
Cant believe his last home game is this upcoming Monday. Easily a Top 5 qb ever and a first ballot hofer in my mind. Ben has been the only qb ive really ever known in my 22 years of life. He is the Steelers to me. These next couple seasons arent gonna feel right without him. LOVE YEW 7
Well said. I also have only watched him as QB in my 19 years of life. Gonna be sad to see him go. 😢 Let’s get this win on Monday!
Thank you for the upload. Big Ben will go down as one of the greatest of all time!
Missed one of my favorite plays. The fake spike versus the cowboys that resulted in the touchdown to brown. We ultimately lost that game but the trickery was great and done solely by Big Ben
i absolutely love that ben's first highlight was his tackle after the bus fumbled int he playoffs. i'll never forget seeing that live.
This just got me so hyped for the year
And they haven’t disappointed at all :)
I got chills!!!
To all steeler fans.....appreciate this man for the little time we have left with him. We have been so spoiled to have him all these years. What a fucking legend!!!!
Big Ben one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time! Lets go Steelers!!!
Coming back to this after his final game in Heinz Field got me so emotional. We Steelers fans will miss him so much…
The greatest catch in history…Ben to Holmes, gives me chills
Came back here to watch after the recent news that this Monday might be Bens last home game as a Steeler, made me love the guy even more. Amazing video
Here before his likely final home game ever coming up this monday night. What a career absolute legend.
i will never forget the pass to santonio holmes in triple coverage for the game winner. that super bowl was 2009 and i remember it like it was yesterday. one of tue best QBS to ever set foot on a football field
3:36 is why we just took Chase Claypool.. Bens gonna love him
Oh he does
nail that
this aged like wine
Damn dude you were spot on 👌🏼
I honestly can't imagine football without Big Ben Roethlisberger!!
Thanks for everything Ben, you will be missed!!!!!
I barely started watching NFL. God damn big ben. Is he one of the top 10 QBs ever?
I'm from pittsburgh and I remember the tackle Ben made vs Indy literally gave some guy a heart attack as he watched it unfold in a bar on the southside, it was the Bettis fumble that started it all
Knowing Ben's retiring, im seriously crying!
Thank you for this video!
Came back here after our 1-3 start of Ben’s finals year. I still believe he has magic in him
Yea big a rod boyyyy
HOF in 5 years Ben ! Thank you so much for this 18 years ! Will be tough to watch the game without you
Bills fan stoked that we have a qb with a great Ben impression.
Great career from the best Pittsburgh QB ever. Thank you for 18 years of amazing win. Tough losses. Nothing but love. 3 outta 3 chips. Legendary
Who’s here after his lose to Cleveland? He had a hell of a game just too many INTs. But 500+ yards and 4 TDs is enough to win a game. Defense was also banged up
We comin back reloaded this year baby
Great video, full of memories. I have been blessed to watch this man lead the Steelers. He's doing his best right now, but Father Time is undefeated. He has won against Big Ben and the offensive line.
Easily the most talented guy I've ever seen of this era.
What??
Awesome job on this, let’s get some of this magic back this season when we get Houdini back!
I’ve been a Steelers fan since I was kid. I was around 12 and had a copy of madden 98 for sega genesis and that was my team and has been through my life. I’ve enjoyed watching bens career. GO STEELERS!
He’s not underrated he’s going to be in the HOF.
READ these stats:
5th all time in wins
5th all time in passing yards
5th all time in completions
3rd all time in game winning drives
3rd all time in 4th quarter comebacks
1st all time in 500+ yard games
1st all time in perfect passer rating games
13 playoff wins, 5 conference championship games, 3 Super Bowls, 2 rings
The Steelers have had ZERO losing seasons since drafting him 18 years ago.
Gonna miss him so much
He was so clutch. I would take Ben in his prime over any other QB if I needed a game winning drive.
yea your definitely on crack if you wouldn’t take brady in any game winning drive 😂 mans has 6 super bowl game winning drives
@@sirpekster I mean they are both tied 3rd with 50 game winning drives, also brady has had 4 more years worth of games. So totally can be argued that Ben is better.
@@marshall3b yea brady still had 4 rings to manning 1 😂
@@sirpekster what's your point? Yea because tge pats superbowls didn't have any * pfft. Also the greatest clutch moment in SB history was Ben won the super bowl against the cards on that last drive.
@@marshall3b yea brady definitely surpassed that with the falcons one
So happy the steelers picked this man, he has been a privilege to watch, not many franchises have had a quarterback of his caliber, and we were lucky enough to get the only one Ben Roethlisberger
I had the chills the entire time. Ben will always be my guy. He’s the only qb I’ve ever known for the Steelers. Even though I always cursed his name, I miss the hell out of him lol I’m praying he comes back!
Millegeville!!!
I remember all these plays and my heart always pumping
I watch this start to finish and when it shows the last drive against the Cardinals in the superbowl,
As soon as Holmes catches that last pass, I get flashbacks from me and my family watching the game,
and I just cry like a little bitch
Me too bro…. I was in Pittsburgh watching this game with family and friends. The drive before, Fitzgerald took it in for the TD on like 70 yards. The city was crazy afterwards. Something I’ll never forget
Big Ben is the most god gifted QB we will ever see, the pocket presence, the arm, the ability to escape! He really is the greatest!!!!
Who would have thought ben eould be a top 10 all time qb. You can debate it but there isnt 10 you can name better In history based on careers! Steelers✨
Amazing
I especially remember that one off season in Millegeville, Georgia too.
Absolutely love the shot of Larry Foote watching bens super bowl drive like a nervous kid in front of the TV. Truly captures what all Steelers fans were feeling at that moment. Couldn’t have asked for a better ending too. Go Steelers!
I’m a Cowboys fan, but I love watching Steelers highlights. Big Ben just turns nothing into something.
Traitor
@@squibs_lol1446 classic cowboys fan
Had to comeback and watch this one of the Greatest to ever do it thank you Ben for 18 years it's been a privilege 🖤🖤💛💛
The most underrated QB of all time no doubt. He’s a top ten QB of all time
Excellent video! Loved the Arizona Super Bowl footage
Brady, Ben, and Manning (P). The best of this era.
I feel like Rodgers needs to be in there to
Manning Rodgers Brees Ben Brady top 5 of this era. Matt Ryan sixth
I was 7 years old watching Big Ben’s big tackle live and I remember it like it was yesterday lol
I love how Al Michaels announces some of those TDs like he's just sick of Ben throwing them. Bahaha!
Never gets old watching him do work
I hope he can return and have a good season at least, he may not have as good of a season stats wise at 2017 and 2018 but hopefully he can recover. I hope he can play 2 more seasons and fulfill his contract. Steelers can't think QB in the draft this year in 2020 due to their lack of draft picks but have to be looking for the QB of the future in the 2021 draft
100% agree. Ben’s gotta get one more super bowl before he retires. Maybe we can be like the 2015 broncos and our defense can carry our aging quarterback
JMJArkansas40 nature he has to play in the 2021 season because I am born and raised in Nola but I live the Steelers my grandma like them in the 70s-80s before the saints were mediocre or even good and as a senior gift she usually has the garland sons ride in a parade... well I want to go to Heinz field and watch the Steelers play the saints in Pittsburgh
@@savagecarlos2064 I say he'll win 2 more before he retires!
My heart is still pounding on this drive after this many years....
How he didnt get MVP of super bowl 43 is beyond me.. it was an amazing catch but that throw couldn't be any better..
Because he had the better game. When Roethlisberger was throwing to Holmes he was 9-13 131 yds 1 TD. When he was throwing to everyone else he was 12-17 125 yds 1 INT. On that touchdown drive Holmes had 73 yards. And it wasn't just the touchdown that got it for Holmes, it was the catch and run that set up that last play.

@@toddwynn3397 if u watch the play before Ben pump fake got Holmes that open . Just watch him draw 29 off when he pumped and acted like he was going to check it down . Then the saftey was late trying to pick up Holmes. If it wasn't for Ben the Steelers would have lost that game. Period. take ur stats and say what u want but that game winning drive was all Ben .
@@randymoyer9505 That last drive was at least as much Holmes as it was Ben. You can dismiss the stats, but Roethlisberger was an average QB when throwing it to anyone else. He was only an MVP when throwing it to Holmes, pump fake or no pump fake.
@@toddwynn3397 Big Ben threw a perfect pass to the left corner the previous play that the "MVP" let go right thru his hands. Then the actual MVP gave the bogus mvp another chance to be a hero. That is something Big Ben has been doing for 18 years. That is giving other teamates a chance to be a hero.
That throw to Holmes is the greatest throw in SB history. Legend
Anyone else watching this to coupe the loss to the browns and Ben on the urge of retirement😞
Me bruh
Exactly what I was doing
Chills just chills watching and remembering how great 7 was!!!
Big Ben + selfless wr + great te= amazing offense. 2:20 there’s 2 wr wide open running around but he doesn’t throw it. The tight end is amazing to
Well y'all are undefeated and just beat your rivalry with the best defense rn. Hope your happy, I'm stuck with the Cowboys. Smh
That's my QB has been for nearly past 20 years Steelersnation love you Ben even when you're older you're still our QB.
I don't understand how football analysts and experts have the audacity to put QB's like Rivers, Rodgers, Brees ahead of Big Ben.. Big Ben has been the third best QB in the 2000's since being drafted in 2004. It should go Tom Brady#1, Peyton Manning#2, Ben Roethlisberger#3 and then everyone else.. Ben has been a winner his entire career and can make all the throws and is clutch when it matters.. he's easily the most underrated and underappreciated QB of this generation and maybe all time.
BEN SHOULD BE AHEAD OF BRADY CANT STAND THE SO CALLED QB I WILL TAKE BEN ANYTIME
This video touched me in a very appropriate way
Yes
Big Ben 1ST Ballot Hall Of Famer
I don't know if these are the greatest hits or not. I also don't know if they are a comprehensive collection of "career highlights." Perhaps the creator was just leaving it open-ended and not saying these were ALL the highlights, because Ben has so many! What really liked about the video is these were edited to allow the story of each game to flow. It's almost a collection of Ben's most entertaining games, which explains why so many clips were against the Ravens. 😆 I also loved seeing the past receivers and running backs who when they left Ben, suddenly didn't look as great. ;)
Who can extend a play for a positive gain or long yardage play better than Big Ben??? NO ONE!!!!!!
Rodgers, Mahomes, Wilson
Hunter Bernard you obviously haven’t watched Bens career
Watson if he stays healthy may rival big Ben in that category
Big Ben will be in the NFL Hall of Fame
Ben should have been SB MVP of 43. One of the 10 greatest throws in NFL history. People forget how mobile he was in the pocket when he was young. Now we have a young QB in Rudolph, who in the pocket is about as stiff as Franco Harris' statue at the Pittsburgh Airport.
Big Ben still your Qb just got hurt that year, they say he's playing like his old self again
So underrated he’s up there with the best
A pump fake master. I Couldn’t imagine him on any other team
Big Ben needs to watch this video! This pumped me up he needs some momentum!
I'm no Steelers fan but big Ben is an all time in his own way
With how this season is going I needed this
